6 years agoThe Kansas City Royals played a doubleheader on Wednesday and shortstop Adalberto Mondesi took the opportunity to light up the scoreboard across the two games. Mondesi drilled a two-run shot in the first game to help the Royals beat the Rays 3-2, and he stole a pair of bases from Blake Snell in the second game as KC took the sweep. Mondesi has been a surprise five-category monster so far this year, as he's not only racked up four dingers and 10 stolen bases, but he's also hitting a smooth .295 on the season. Mondesi's contact issues seem to have been put to bed so far, and if he can keep that up, he could seriously be aiming at a 20/50 season this year.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
