Adalberto Mondesi Exits Early With An Apparent Injury
Adalberto Mondesi (leg) exited Tuesday's game against the Chicago White with an apparent injury. He tweaked his leg while turning back into first base on a pickoff attempt. He was replaced in the game by Edward Olivares. Mondesi went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a walk before exiting. The 26-year-old's injury is considered day-to-day, and more information about his injury should be known after the game. This season, Mondesi has racked up five stolen bases but is sporting a woeful .140 batting average. If Mondesi were to miss any games, Olivares would see an uptick in playing time. Stay tuned.
