Aaron Nola Fantastic In Game 2 Victory
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola was on point in the easy 10-0 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series. Nola improved to 3-0 this postseason by tossing six shutout innings, allowing only three hits, walking none and striking out seven. The 30-year-old kept the Snakes off balance all night and was in complete command of his arsenal with the home crowd behind him. Nola has been absolutely dominant so far this postseason after a slightly disappointing regular season, going 3-0 with a 0.96 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 19 strikeouts in 18 2/3 innings in his three starts. Depending on how the rest of this series goes, his next start could be in the World Series.
