NHL DFS Analysis and Picks for 11/30

Good Evening and welcome back! Turns out that 4-game slates are not the friendliest, or at least as of late. Last night was another blood bath and if you did not partake in the Kraken’s overtake of Buffalo...well ya lost. Arizona winning and shutting out Winnipeg as well? What?! Tonight we welcome back the typical 8-game slate with Boston as the clear-cut favorites and Minnesota not too far behind. There is a slew of injuries as well that will affect the slate and how lineups are made, so be wary..

Vegas Odds for the Day

Players Out

Tony DeAngelo - D - Carolina Hurricanes

Brett Pesce - D - Carolina Hurricanes

Brad Marchand - W - Boston Bruins

Players Expected Back

NHL DFS Goalies

Frederick Anderson- DK $7.8K || FD $8.3K

Opponent - Dallas Stars

Dallas has been playing much better as of late, but this will be one of their bigger tests against the Canes. Dallas still possesses the league's tenth-worst goals for though. Freddy has a solid 1.98 Goals Against and a 0.932 Save Percentage. Anderson has one of the better matchups of the slate.

Others To Consider (Cash/GPP): Talbot(DK $8.5K || FD $8.2K), Blackwood(DK $8.0K || FD $8.1K), Binnington(DK $7.7K || FD $7.8K), Gibson(DK $7.5K || FD $6.9K), Nedeljkovic(DK $7.1K || FD $7.4K)

NHL DFS Centers

Mikael Granlund-DK $5K || FD $4.8K

Opponent - Columbus Blue Jackets

Granlund is turning into the player everyone thought he would be in Minnesota and now he has the best shooter on the team back -- Filip Forsberg --. Over the last five appearances, Granlund is averaging 2.6 shots per game along with a 2-3-5 line.

Dawson Mercer- DK $4.7K || FD $4.7K

Opponent - San Jose Sharks

Mercer continues to shine in his first season in the NHL. The pivot has a 1-2-3 line over his last five appearances and he is averaging over 2.0 shots per game as well as a few blocked shots. After his line led the Devil's to victory in their most recent outing, he will look to do it once again in a fast-paced matchup with the Sharks.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Bergeron(DK $8.4K || FD $8.3K), Aho(DK $7.7K || FD $8.9K), Jenner(DK $6K || FD $5K), Hartman(DK $5.6K || FD $5.3K), Couture(DK $5.4K || FD $5.2K)

NHL DFS Wings

Wings

Taylor Hall- DK $4.2K || FD $5.8K

Opponent - Detroit Red Wings

Hall has been anything but good this year. The winger is surprisingly averaging over 2.0 shots per game and now he gets a crack at the glorified top line of the Bruins with teammate Brad Marchand suspended for three games.

Oliver Bjorkstrand- DK $6.5K || FD $6.6K

Opponent - Nashville Predators

Bjorkstrand has not been having the best of luck lately with numerous pivots rotating in and out on his line. However, through all of the unbalanced chemistry, he has maintained an average of at least 3.0 shots per game. Nashville is getting healthier, but they are still a heavy offense team and they love to go back and forth.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Pastrnak(DK $8.8K || FD $8.8K), Kaprizov(DK $7.4K || FD $7.6K), Meier(DK $6.8K || FD $7.7K), Forsberg(DK $6.7K || FD $6.4K), Bratt(DK $4.6K || FD $5.3K), Necas(DK $3.8K || FD $5.2K)

NHL DFS Defensemen

Defense

Jaccob Slavin- DK $4.2K || FD $4.3K

Opponent - Dallas Stars

Slavin is a peripheral king and he continues to hit value game in and game out. In 20 appearances this season, he is averaging 2.0 shots and 1.55 blocked shots. With COVID-19 hitting the blue line for the Canes, Slavin may be given the chance to run either power-play.

Roman Josi- DK $7.6K || FD $7.1K

Opponent - Columbus Blue Jackets

Josi has some competition on the slate for the best defender in the best matchup, but he may take the cake by a smidge. The veteran defenseman offers an all-around game while quarterbacking the top power-play for the Predators. His floor and upside combined with the fast-paced matchup is a recipe for success.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Hamilton(DK $7.8K || FD $7K), Werenski(DK $6.8K || FD $6.2K), McAvoy(DK $6.3K || FD $6.8K), Karlsson(DK $5.4K || FD $4.9K), Ferraro(DK $5.1K || FD $4.4K), Durzi(DK $3.2K || FD $4.6K)
