BALLER MOVE: Target Around ~50 Overall
CURRENT ADP: ~70
ANALYSIS: It's been a while since Landry had surgery (hip; February) and news at the end of July spoke of Landry as being on track to be back on the field come the first week of the new season. Even with that good news coming earlier, Landry's stock has been plummeting for a month straight, which doesn't make sense to me at all. Sure, Landry hit the PUP list at the beginning of August and fantasy GMs kinda overreacted to that, but that didn't mean the WR would be inactive in Week 1 as Cleveland removed him from it just a week later.
Landry is far from a secret, although he seems to always be undervalued and overlooked in fantasy leagues and contests. I don't know the reason and struggle to find one no matter how much I try. Landry is one of just eight wide receivers to have played at least 60 games in the past five years combined (he's played the max-possible 80 games and never missed one in his career) while averaging 15+ PPR points per contest. Remember he's been in Cleveland only two years, though, and he endured/was part of the Dolphins for the first three in that span.
Playing next to Odell Beckham Jr. is always going to bring Landry's ADP down, no matter what. OBJ is the prima donna and the one with the fame, only Landry's a way better value than the former. PFF has them projected to 235 and 217 PPR points respectively in 2020, but the difference is that OBJ is getting drafted as the WR12 while Landry is as cheap as the WR29. The ROI Landry is expected to return at those levels of production/ADP is massive. Don't hesitate to snatch Landry as soon as you can, even more if his ADP keeps going down (that's the trend currently) as he's already a true steal where he's at!
