BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 50% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The Lions absolutely destroyed Jacksonville this past Sunday with a 40-14 victory that nobody truly believed while watching it all unfold right in front of their eyes. That bulky victory was possible (at least in part) thanks to Jared Goff's smoothly efficient game from the pocket, another one to add to an already-great season.
Goff completed 31 passes (season-high) of the 41 he attempted last Sunday. He reached 340 passing yards completing 75.6% of his tosses and also bagged a couple of touchdowns. He didn't throw a pick for the fourth game in a row while also avoiding all sorts of fumbles.
While Goff has not scrambled the rock once in the past two games (and he's only done so a total of 21 times over the full season) he's just not needing those bonus rushing stats to put up fantasy numbers. It's now been five of his last six games hitting 12.4+ FP and back-to-back outings into the 17+ FP realm.
Goff has finished as a top-21 fantasy quarterback in five of his last six games (he dropped to QB26 in Week 11) including making it to the top-15 players at the position in W12 and (pending MNF) ranking QB4 in Week 13.
Over the season, Goff has the 17th-most FP sandwiched between Tua Tagovailoa and Tom Brady. On a per-game basis, Goff ranks QB19 through Week 13 with 12 games played, and the Lions' bye week is already in the books.
If you play in any 2QB/Superflex league, make sure to roster Goff ROS if he's still available in your WW because he's probably the best performer out there on a weekly basis with Detroit getting healthier on the pass-catching end to finish the year and getting into the fantasy postseason.
