ANALYSIS:
Taillon was one out away from having two quality starts in a row, but he was removed after 5.2 innings in his last start. In the start before that, he shut out his former team the New York Yankees for eight innings. It hasn't been a good first season with the Cubs for Taillon and with his contract it's unlikely he's traded to a better team in the next week.
Still, he's not as bad as his 6.05 ERA suggests as he has a 4.83 xFIP this year. Taillon should probably be left on the wire in shallow formats, but makes sense for desperate managers in deeper leagues.
