ANALYSIS: Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Tolbert has stepped up with Brandin Cooks on injured reserve because of a knee injury. The third-year pro is the WR40, averaging 8.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game this season. He has 24 receptions on 34 targets for 290 receiving yards and two touchdowns in six games.

More importantly, Tolbert has played well when earning enough targets. He has averaged 11.9 fantasy points per game in the four contests with at least five targets, totaling 11.2 or more fantasy points in all but one matchup. Furthermore, the third-year wide receiver has two games with nine or more targets, averaging 84.5 receiving yards and 14.7 fantasy points per game in those two contests.
Fantasy players that need a rest-of-season replacement for Brandon Aiyuk (knee) or Chris Godwin (ankle) should make Tolbert a top priority off the waiver wire this week.
