Jahmyr Gibbs' fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Jahmyr Gibbs for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB1
ANALYSIS: Last week, the return of David Montgomery was expected to eat into rookie Jahmyr Gibbs' touches. It did, to an extent, as Gibbs had just eight carries, ending a streak of three consecutive games with double-digit carries.
Still, Gibbs managed to score a rushing touchdown for the fourth game in a row, finishing with 36 yards and a score. He also continued to stay involved in the team's passing attack, as he was targeted six times, catching all six passes for 59 yards.
The range of outcomes for Gibbs with Montgomery back in the fold becomes a lot different because there's a chance he just doesn't get enough touches to continue his strong run. Even with that issue, he's just been so good lately, averaging over six yards per touch in four consecutive contests. Gibbs is a dynamic playmaker who can find a way to succeed, even if his total touches are down because of Montgomery's return.
While his floor is lower now, Gibbs should be considered a low-end RB1 play in fantasy leagues for Thursday's meeting with the Green Bay Packers. He averaged 5.0 yards per carry when these teams met back in September.
