BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely has always been a draft darling for those in the dynasty fantasy football community. The former Coastal Carolina star was a popular dynasty rookie draft pick in 2022 despite landing with the Ravens. No one thought Likely would supplant Mark Andrews as the No. 1 tight end. Yet, many hoped the young tight end would have a consistent role on offense.
When Baltimore lost Andrews to a season-ending injury in Week 11, Likely stepped up as the new No. 1 tight end. In the three contests without the superstar, the second-year player has averaged 4.7 receptions on 6.3 targets for 64.3 receiving yards and 12.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Last week, Likely had his second consecutive game with a receiving touchdown. He has scored over 15 fantasy points in back-to-back matchups.
Tonight, the Ravens face the San Francisco 49ers in what many believe could be a Super Bowl preview matchup. The 49ers have held tight ends to 8.5 fantasy points per game this season, slightly below the league average. However, they have surrendered 20 receptions for 238 receiving yards, two touchdowns, and 45.8 fantasy points to tight ends over the past two weeks.
After putting together back-to-back impressive performances, fantasy players can pencil Likely into their starting lineup for the rest of the season.
