Top Hitter Streamers and Starts - Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups for Post-All-Star Break (July 18 - July 20)

Noelvi Marte - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Dan's top hitter streamers and starts as fantasy baseball waiver wire adds for the remainder of Week 16 of 2025 (July 18- July 20). He analyzes streamers with favorable matchups, schedules.

We are about to go four days without any MLB games, but we can still plan for next weekend, as most leagues will wrap up Week 15 by including the first series after the break.

Our hitter streamers fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups column will identify hitters with favorable matchups who can be considered waiver wire streamers ahead of the Sunday night waiver wire runs for leagues with weekly transactions. Players who appear in this article will always be rostered in 40 percent or fewer leagues on Yahoo!

In this piece, every week, I'll look to find hitters playing in the most games and who have the most favorable matchups to help you plug those gaps and fill those holes in your roster. You can also check out the rest of our fantasy baseball streamer content here at RotoBaller. Let's see which hitters we should consider grabbing off the wire as we roll into the second half of the fantasy baseball season!

What Teams Offer the Most Streaming Value for the Rest of Week 15?

Every MLB team is playing three games this weekend.

Ballpark Upgrades:

  • BAL (three games at TB)
  • BOS (three games at CHC)
  • MIN (three games at COL)

Week 15 Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers

I'll recommend only players who are 40 percent rostered or lower, and all roster percentages are from Yahoo!

Chandler Simpson, OF - TBR (36% rostered)

Hopefully, this is the last week that I have to make the case for Simpson. While he's yet to hit a home run this season, Simpson brings massive value to batting average, runs scored, and stolen bases. He had made 10 straight starts, including a few against LHP, until he was finally given the day off yesterday.

All the guy does is get on base, steal bases, and score runs. He does it no matter what lineup spot he's hitting, as the Rays continue to move him up and down the lineup. We are getting a big enough sample size at this point to conclude that Simpson's hit tool is good enough for him to stick in the majors for the rest of the season.

Colt Keith, 1B/2B/3B - DET (29% rostered)

Keith has had his share of struggles at times this season, which have kept him from being an everyday player for Detroit. To the Tigers' credit, they've shown patience with Keith, and it's paying off in a big way right now as he's on fire this month.

His walk rate is up (12%) and K% is down (17%) this month, while he's getting some impressive results to the tune of a 1.130 OPS and 216 wRC+. If he's truly breaking out, then he's going to be universally rostered in a matter of a few weeks. Hitting leadoff for this Detroit lineup is going to be a great spot for production in the second half.

Jorge Polanco, 2B/3B - SEA (25% rostered)

At one point earlier this season, Polanco was swinging one of the hottest bats in baseball with nine home runs in March and April. But he was pretty inconsistent throughout May and June and was tossed back onto the wire by plenty of managers.

He appears to be heating up again, with two home runs in his last four games, and it's important to note that he's getting more consistent playing time at either second base or DH, regardless of the opposing pitcher's handedness.

Noelvi Marte, 3B - CIN (24% rostered)

There's no time for victory laps (okay, maybe a small one), but I had Marte in last week's column, and he's making me look good with three home runs in his last four games.

Hitting ninth doesn't bother me at all. He's been in the lineup every day and has the tools we are looking for from fantasy hitters. A matchup with the Mets next week might be a good thing, as their pitching staff has gone downhill since earlier in the season.

Sean Murphy, C - ATL (20% rostered)

Murphy is swinging one of the hottest bats in baseball, slugging three home runs over his last two games. He now has seven dingers over his last nine starts and is forcing Atlanta to put him and Drake Baldwin both in the lineup together more often by using the DH slot on one of them.

His name has come up in trade conversations, too, so a speculative add here in case he's dealt to a contender where his playing time would be solidified makes sense.

J.P. Crawford, SS - SEA (19% rostered)

Crawford is on one of his hot streaks again, riding a 13-game hitting streak right now and picking up the run production in a big way as of late (six RBI, four runs scored in last four games).

Hopefully, he comes out of the break as hot as he's going into it. Crawford lacks the stolen base upside of someone like Simpson or Tyler Freeman, but he's been so consistent and is hitting atop a much better offense than Freeman.

Tyler Freeman, SS/OF - COL (18% rostered)

Speaking of streaks, Freeman has a 24-game on-base streak going, which leads the major leagues. He's another player you could add if you are looking for batting average, runs scored, and steals.

He's earned the ability to lead off for Colorado, and it's hard to imagine them replacing him in that spot while he's still producing at such a high level.

Mickey Moniak, OF - COL (11% rostered)

I know, I know - we've been here before. But I just got done writing up a bunch of contact hitters with no power upside, and it's incredibly tough to find home runs on the waiver wire.

Moniak has his warts, he's probably going to sit against lefties, and he isn't stealing many bases so far. However, he's on pace for a 25 home run season and has even perked up his batting average over .250 with an excellent last few weeks.

Hyeseong Kim, 2B/SS/OF - LAD (11% rostered)

For you deep-leaguers, here's a guy who we have been waiting for to get some more consistent playing time, and we might get it for him as the Dodgers are dealing with injuries to Max Muncy and Enrique Hernandez.

Kim flashed his potential on Friday night when he went 3-4 at the plate and stole two bases. He's been used sparingly, but his per-at-bat stats are impressive even if the sample size is small.

Week 15 Deeper League Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers to Consider

Some widely available hitters (under 10 percent rostered) could be worth a look this week.

Good luck this week, and choose those streaming options wisely! Thanks for making RotoBaller your one-stop shop for all things fantasy baseball!
