BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 18% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: It wasn't until recently that Gabriel Davis was recently used--and it took WR Emmanuel Sanders getting injured--but we're now looking at someone with bona fide WR3/Flex appeal weekly for the remainder of the season playing for a strong team and powerful offense. Davis logged 305 total snaps from W1-W13 (25 per game) but he's now playing 60+ a week, getting 83%+ snap shares, and has been on the field for 128 offensive plays in just the last two weeks combined. Talk about opportunities.
Davis has scored at least 11 PPR points in three games in a row. Even though he only appeared on 16 snaps back in W13, he still found the end zone with a low-volume-yet-highly-efficient 4-2-30-1 line. On a much bulkier usage the past two weeks, Davis has been able to score three more touchdowns (one in W14, two this past weekend) while getting 8-5-43 and 7-5-85 receiving lines.
All things considered, Davis has finished as a top-30 receiver three weeks in a row including his WR1 finish in W15 to the tune of a season-high 25.5 PPR points mostly aided by his couple of touchdowns. Davis should stay active and get tons of looks/opportunities ROS. Not going to say he's got enough to keep up that top-12 level of play for two more weeks until the end of the playoffs, but you can very well consider him a WR3-floor player at the very least in the next couple of weeks unless he absolutely flops next weekend or comes back to a very diminished role.
