On the field, Week 1 was fairly lackluster – six teams scored in the single digits, and many of the week's marquee games ended up being duds. For fantasy purposes however, Week 1 was action packed and game-changing.

The most noteworthy news, of course, is mostly-consensus #1 pick David Johnson headed to the IR, but the Ravens also lost Danny Woodhead for 4-6 weeks and the Jaguars lost Allen Robinson for the year. Then there's the rookie breakouts. From Tarik Cohen to Kenny Golladay to Alvin Kamara, there were plenty of rookies staking their claim for your (waiver) claim in Week 1.

But I'm also not here to talk waivers. You're probably reading this article on Wednesday, and your waivers have already gone through, but guess what? It's already time to start thinking about Week 2! Isn't NFL season great?

Week 2 Mailbag - Q&A

I'm scrambling to replace the irreplaceable David Johnson on my roster. My only backup at the moment is Ameer Abdullah. Can I trust him in my lineup next week?

First off, my condolences on DJ. I admittedly have no shares of him anywhere, but it's never fun to see a guy of his level go down (and devastate fantasy owners everywhere). That said, I think Abdullah is a fine RB2/FLEX option for now. Despite a pretty awful 2.0 yards per carry, he did have 18 touches on Sunday and played over 50% of Detroit's offensive snaps. Theo Riddick is the primary passing down back, but Abdullah should continue to see enough volume for now to be an option.

What do you think of Hunter Henry going forward? Didn't even have a target Monday night.

This weekend proved that Henry's floor is as high as his ceiling, but it's certainly not going to be easy to predict the weeks that he's going to produce. The Chargers have openly said that they are going to force feed Antonio Gates in the early season so that he can break the tight end touchdown record, but the bigger concern is that Henry's snap count was only 39%. Henry is probably a TE2 with upside for now, but he's also the right type of guy to pair with someone like Austin Hooper. Good luck guessing which one is going to produce when though.

Need one to start (PPR): Chris Carson or Jeremy Hill.

This is a tough one, but I'd go Carson. Typically I don't love going with rookies in crowded backfields, but Hill is in a crowded backfield of his own and he is probably the least talented back in his. The ceiling is higher with Carson anyway, who I think has a real chance to take over as Seattle's lead back at some point this year.

Too soon to drop Eric Decker?

Oh my god yes! Don't let his three catches for 10 yards stat line fool you, Decker is going to be a big part of the Tennessee offense this year, especially in the red zone. Despite the poor outing on Sunday, he still had eight targets and led the team's WR corps in snaps. He's unlikely to put up monster numbers on a weekly basis due to the weapons that Marcus Mariota has at his disposal, but I still like Decker as a high-floor WR3 for the rest of the season.

Stefon Diggs...great receiver or greatest receiver?

Easiest question I received all week. Greatest receiver. Might as well put his plaque in Canton now. Oh and #HeATerp.
