Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers - Top Waiver Wire Pickups and Starts for Week 11 (June 3 - June 9)

TJ Friedl - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Fantasy baseball hitter streamers and starts for Week 11 of the 2024 season. Thunder Dan Palyo analyzes the top batter streamers to pick up in Week 11.

June has arrived and with it, perhaps the warm weather needed to jump-start offenses across the league. So far, pitching has had the upper hand this season, but warmer temperatures help the baseball travel further so we might start seeing that dynamic start to shift this week - stay tuned!

Our hitter streamers fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups column will identify hitters with good matchups and can be considered waiver wire streamers ahead of the Sunday night waiver wire runs for leagues with weekly transactions.

In this piece, every week I'll look to find hitters playing in most games and who have the most favorable matchups to help you plug those gaps and fill those holes in your roster. You can also check out the rest of our fantasy baseball streamer content here at RotoBaller.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

What Teams Offer The Most Streaming Value?

This week, we have eight teams playing seven games between Monday, June 3 and Sunday, June 9:

  • Arizona (vs. SFG, @SDP)
  • Baltimore (@TOR, @TB)
  • Cincinnati (@COL, vs. CHC)
  • Colorado (vs. CIN, @STL)
  • San Diego (@LAA, vs. ARI)
  • St. Louis (@HOU, vs. COL)
  • Toronto (vs. BAL, @OAK)
  • Washington (vs. NYM, vs. ATL)

Four teams only play FIVE games this week (MIA, PHI, TB, and NYM).

Park Factors and Matchups: Upgrades and Downgrades

  • Chicago (NL) plays at home for two games and then four games in Cincy  -- UPGRADE
  • Cincinnati plays three games at home and three games at Coors -- UPGRADE

Week 11 Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers

I'll recommend only players who are 40% rostered or lower and all roster percentages are from Yahoo!

TJ Friedl, OF - CIN (38%)

The Reds' outfield is back, returning from the IL last week and man, does Cincy need another productive bat in their lineup! Friedl should lead off against righties and hopefully get back to his 2023 form as he mashed 18 homers, drove in 66 runs, and swiped 27 bases.

I highlighted the Cincy schedule this week as they play at home for three games and in Colorado for the other three, so all six of their games will be in the league's top two ballparks for hitters. I didn't include them in the rest of the article, but bump up all your Reds a little this week and consider adding Jeimer Candelario, Jake Fraley, and Will Benson - all available across many leagues right now.

Kevin Pillar, OF - LAA (38%)

Pillar slowed down some last week after he went scorched Earth on pitchers the week before, but still managed a home run, two runs, and three RBI while getting at least one hit in every game he started. He's worthy of being rostered in all formats while he's getting this many at-bats and being this productive.

Nick Gonzales, 2B/SS - PIT (35%)

Gonzales has made a huge impression in Pittsburgh in the 20 games since he came up from Triple-A. The Pirates, in desperate need of offense, have made Gonzales their everyday second baseman and have been hitting him consistently in the fifth or sixth slot in the lineup. He's done a little of everything, hitting for average, power, and stealing a few bases. He may not be able to produce at this high of a level all season, but he's certainly worth rostering now while he's easily the hottest hitter in Pittsburgh.

Josh Smith, 3B/SS/OF - TEX (33%)

Smith has made this column several times before. Over the last week, he's been hitting third for Texas as they deal with some injuries and he continues to produce as he scored five runs and stole two bases in his last six games. He will provide some solid AVG, R, and SB without hurting you anywhere and has positional flexibility.

Keibert Ruiz, C - WAS (30%)

Ruiz was in this piece last week and had a solid start to his week before finishing 0-for-7 in his last two games and then being rested yesterday. The overall trend here is still positive and Ruiz should continue to be in the lineup more often than not. He had too good of a year last year for us not to buy back in here after a slow start.

Josh Bell, 1B - MIA (28%)

Bell has been a key part of Miami's offensive awakening of late. He's hitting .298 with four runs scored and four RBI over the last two weeks. His power can be inconsistent, but he does have six home runs this season and can spray doubles to either gap against lefties or righties as a switch-hitter.

Jesse Winker, OF - WAS (23%)

It's been a rollercoaster of a year for Winker as he had a solid start to the season but then went hitless for nearly two weeks in early May before getting it going again. Right now he is back in a very productive stretch, especially on the basepaths where he's swiped five bags over the last two weeks to bring his season total to 10.

If the Nats are going to keep running this often, Winker has a lot of upside as the steals are a huge boost to what he's already been doing from a run-production standpoint (6 HR, 26 R, 25 RBI).

Masyn Winn, SS - STL (24%)

If you have read this column or any of my other waiver wire pieces, you'll know I really like this kid and have been recommending him for several weeks. His runs scored are often held hostage by whether or not he gets any help from the hitters behind him in the lineup, but he continues to hit and get on base like crazy. His two-week hit streak is over, but he should continue to lead off against lefties and the Cardinals need him more than ever with Lars Nootbaar on the IL.

Patrick Bailey, C - SFG (23%)

Like Ruiz, Bailey is a switch-hitting catcher who often finds himself hitting somewhere in the middle of the lineup. He's battled some injuries this season, appearing in just 36 games, but right now he is healthy and has been productive, hitting .344 with five runs scored and eight RBI over the last two weeks.

Colt Keith, 2B/3B - DET (17%)

It took until May 24 for Keith to hit his first major league home run, but it didn't take long for him to hit his second as he homered again just one week later. The young middle infielder is warming up at the plate, hitting .357 over the last two weeks while driving in seven runs.

Ty France, 1B - SEA (16%)

France has never been a sexy player to roster, but you really can't argue against the production right now as he's been on a nice roll, hitting .326 over the last two weeks with three home runs and nine RBI. He's brought his season average all the way to .256 and now has seven home runs and 24 RBI on the season. That's certainly a useable fantasy output for deeper leagues at first base or in a utility spot.

Fantasy Baseball Deep League Hitter Streamers to Consider

Some widely available hitters (under 10% rostered) could be worth a look this week.

Good luck this week and choose those streaming options wisely!
