FanDuel NFL DFS Lineup Picks for Week 17 - Daily Fantasy Football

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NFL DFS lineup picks for Week 17 of the 2020 season, and some value sleepers for your daily fantasy football rosters.

Just like that, the NFL regular season will come to a close as Week 17 is here. Things may be trickier to navigate, nonetheless, as several teams will either be limiting or resting their top players. At the same time, other clubs will make one last effort to scratch and claw into playoff relevancy.

In Week 16, we were treated to some noteworthy performances from Michael Gallup, Jamison Crowder, and Samaje Perine. With everything at stake for many teams, we may see some solid outings from players we haven’t heard much of throughout the year.

In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 17 daily fantasy football lineup picks on FanDuel. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. Be sure to also check out our weekly DraftKings DFS lineup picks and lots of other great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win big! Feel free to give me a follow on Twitter @DennisMClausen. Good luck, RotoBallers.

FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 17 Picks

Kirk Cousins, QB - @ DET ($7,700)

Although the Vikings have been officially eliminated from playoff contention, Cousins is adamant about ending the year on a high note. In a matchup against the underwhelming Lions, that shouldn’t be an issue at all.

The 32-year-old has a favorable track record against Detroit during his tenure as a professional. In six career meetings with the Lions, Cousins has maintained an impressive 75.1 completion percentage. He has also thrown for over 250 yards per outing while racking up 13 touchdowns and only one interception during that span.

Russell Wilson, QB - @ SF ($7,500)

The Seahawks are heading to the postseason, and with the team guaranteed to finish within the top-three seeds in the NFC playoff picture, there was speculation that Pete Carroll would be resting some of his top guys. However, with Seattle planning to go “all-out” to secure a bye in the first round, Wilson will in the lineup on Sunday.

After a hot-start to the 2020 campaign where the veteran signal-caller was in the MVP conversation, he has cooled off immensely. However, after dropping 28.74 fantasy points on the 49ers back in November, he has a solid chance at turning things around on Sunday.

Also consider: Lamar Jackson ($9,000)

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 17 Picks

Malcolm Brown, RB - vs. ARI ($5,600)

Darrell Henderson Jr. suffered a high ankle sprain during the Week 16 loss to the Seahawks and will not be available for Sunday’s encounter with the Cardinals. Cam Akers, who is working his way back of a high ankle sprain of his own, has a shot at playing, although it wouldn’t be a surprise if he didn’t.

If Akers doesn’t suit up, Brown should be considered for all fantasy lineups. He had only seven carries against Seattle last weekend, but he may easily double that if he is the featured back against Arizona. Keep an eye on Akers because if he can’t play, Brown is an automatic plug-in.

Alexander Mattison, RB - @ DET ($5,000)

With the unfortunate passing of Dalvin Cook’s father, Mattison will be pushed into the starting lineup. As the No. 1 option out of the backfield, the 22-year-old should see a sizable uptick in production while having a good chance at exceeding his value by far.

Mattison is arguably one of the best backups in the league, and if he were a starter elsewhere, he would surely be a threat to put up over 1,000 yards on the ground. He is also a capable pass-catcher who possesses a skill set similar to Cook. The Lions haven’t impressed anyone on the defensive end this year, so look for Mattison to provide adequate salary relief for those looking to spend up elsewhere in Week 17.

Also consider: Jonathan Taylor ($8,400), Chris Carson ($7,000), Melvin Gordon ($6,800), Jeff Wilson Jr. ($6,300), Ty Johnson ($5,000)

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 17 Picks

Davante Adams, WR - @ CHI ($9,300)

With a win over the Bears or a loss by the Seahawks, the Packers could lock up the top seed in the NFC. In order to do that, however, they will need another stellar showing out of Adams on Sunday.

The 28-year-old has established himself as arguably the top wideout in the league as has been a big reason why Aaron Rodgers may end the year as the Most Valuable Player. He has accumulated at least nine targets in all but one of his appearances on the year and is also coming off an 11-catch, three-touchdown performance against the Titans in Week 16. He has historically played well against Chicago during his career, so the chances are good for another productive fantasy outing from the former second-round pick out of Fresno State.

Russell Gage, WR - @ TB ($5,700)

The Falcons are banged up heading into the team’s final game of the year. Julio Jones, who has missed time already due to a bum hamstring, won’t be available in the season finale. In addition, Brandon Powell will also sit, and Ito Smith’s status is up in the air, which will could open the door for Gage to get a bump in looks from Matt Ryan.

Gage has been relatively consistent as of late. He has a touchdown catch in two of his last four outings and has accumulated 30 targets during that same timeframe. In a game against the Buccaneers that may be one of the highest-scoring affairs in Week 17, the third-year wideout has a decent shot at making some noise on the fantasy end.

Also consider: D.K. Metcalf ($7,600), Curtis Samuel ($6,100), Mecole Hardman ($5,300), Tim Patrick ($5,300), Jerry Jeudy ($5,100)

FanDuel Tight Ends - Week 17 Picks

Mark Andrews, TE - @ CIN ($7,200)

The Ravens continue to commit to the run utilizing the services of Lamar Jackson, Gus Edwards, and J.K. Dobbins. As a result, Jackson hasn’t thrown more than 26 times in each of his last four contests; however, he has still made it a point to keep Andrews involved.

The 25-year-old has has at least five receptions throughout his last four games. He also has two touchdowns during that span and may continue to get some chances to produce in a matchup with the Bengals that could run closer than some expect. With Travis Kelce expected to rest in Week 17, Andrews may be the next best option at the position.

Also consider: Darren Waller ($7,800), George Kittle ($6,800)
