FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (9/6/20): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Khris Middleton - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on September 6, 2020. Dennis Clausen provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

As the extended weekend continues, the league has two contests on tap. The Bucks, who are down 3-0 in the series with the Heat, could be playing its last game on Sunday, primarily if Giannis Antetokounmpo doesn't play after tweaking his ankle in Game 3. If he does manage to suit up, the reigning MVP will undoubtedly be limited, just like he was in his previous game. The Lakers and the Rockets will also square off in Game 2, with Houston decisively taking Game 1 of this series on Friday night. As expected, LeBron James and Anthony Davis have both popped up on the injury report; however, they will likely play.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 9/6/20. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

Feel free to give me a follow on Twitter @DennisMClausen. Good luck.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook, PG - @ LAL ($9,000)

After being limited by a quad injury that forced him to miss time during the Rockets' series with OKC, he hasn't looked the same since his return. However, in Game 1, we started to see a glimpse of the Westbrook of old, as he played with a chip on his shoulder to help lead Houston to the win over Los Angeles. Though he struggled shooting the ball on Friday night, he still managed to finish with 24 points while adding in nine boards, six assists, and a steal. He has been solid defensively, and it shouldn't be long before his percentages from the floor and his minutes both start to increase.

Jimmy Butler, SG - vs. MIL ($8,800)

Butler has played exceptionally well during the series with Milwaukee and is the primary reason why the Bucks have yet to win a game. He finished Game 3 with 30 points and made most of his noise at the charity stripe by going 14-for-19. The former Golden Eagle has hit at least 48.4 fantasy points in two of the three games during this series, and though his asking price for acquiring his DFS services has increased, it is still too low considering his ceiling.

Khris Middleton, SG - @ MIA ($7,500)

Middleton hasn't played up to his standards for most of the postseason, but he managed to log a solid effort in Game 3 against the Heat when he finished with 18 points, seven assists, two steals, and a block. He may have his number called more often in Game 4, primarily if Giannis Antetokounmpo is bother by the sprained ankle that he suffered on Friday night.

Rajon Rondo, PG - vs. HOU ($4,700)

Rondo missed some time after dealing with a back issue but made his postseason debut in Game 1 against the Rockets. While most were hesitant to utilize his services in DFS lineups due to a minutes restriction, he still managed to finish with 22.6 fantasy points, mostly due to his efforts on the defensive end. With Goran Dragic's rostering price steadily increasing over the previous few games and Eric Bledsoe's inconsistent play, fantasy managers could get some salary cap relief by rolling with Rondo in Game 2.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Bam Adebayo, PF @ MIL ($8,200)

Adebayo played 35 minutes in Game 3 against the Bucks and made his presence felt on the fantasy front without a doubt by compiling a double-double by way of 20 points and 16 boards to go along with two blocks. During this series, he has been efficient, especially on the glass, and could be in store for another solid outing in Game 4 as Miami looks to sweep Milwaukee on Sunday night.

Eric Gordon, SF - @ LAL ($5,600)

Gordon continues to get a generous share of minutes despite the return of Russell Westbrook. He finished Game 1 against the Lakers with 23 points and had a good showing shooting the ball. The veteran should continue to get plenty of work in Game 2, and while he is a streaky shooter, he can get hot under the right circumstances.

Jae Crowder, SF - vs. MIL ($5,100)

Crowder has been getting a ton of love during this series and has received plenty of playing time. He has been more effective than usual on the offensive end and has been lights out from deep by shooting 40 percent off 30 attempts from that range.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Brook Lopez, C - @ MIA ($5,800)

Lopez led the Bucks in scoring in Game 3, ending the night with 22 points while also throwing in six boards and two blocks. He has been putting up some decent percentages, especially from downtown. He should continue to draw plenty of interest from fantasy managers on Sunday night, especially since there aren't many reliable options at the center position.
