FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/13/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

After only four games on Monday, the league has an overloaded slate on Tuesday night. With the playoff race in full swing, things are getting interesting, especially as it relates to player rotations. With not many guaranteed injuries on the table, things are pretty straightforward with matchups, pace and over/under being your best chance of success.

We have several games that are projected to be close in addition to some impressive combined scores. Minnesota/Washington, Indiana/Philly, Los Angeles Clippers/Chicago, Charlotte/New Orleans, Cleveland/Phoenix and Denver/Los Angeles Lakers are all slated to have combined scores of at least 211 points and above with a pace over 100. As of this writing, Vegas scores for Orlando/San Antonio and Atlanta/Oklahoma City haven’t been released, but they should have a spread that will run the risk of some core guys sitting from each contest, especially since OKC and San Antonio are coming off back-to-backs. Dallas/New York and Detroit/Utah will both run relatively slow, making them less desirable than the other options that are available.

Below you will find our daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/13/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. Give me a shout on Twitter @Den_Clausen. Good luck!

FanDuel DFS Guards

DeMar DeRozan - SG, @ BKN ($8,100)

Wanna’ hear a joke? DeMar DeRozan is priced at $8,100 against Brooklyn. Pretty funny, right? He didn’t play well against Houston, and only scored nine points against the Knicks the following game, but we can chalk that up to him playing only 28 minutes. As bad as the Nets are, I will say that I believe that they are a lot better than the Knicks and this game may run closer than everyone thinks, meaning DeRozan will stay on the floor and putting up fantasy points.

Kyle Lowry - PG, @ BKN ($8,000)

Moving on from DeRozan to his BFF, Lowry has played well against Brooklyn this season, averaging 14 points, 11.5 assists, 7.5 boards and 2.5 steals over two meetings. Things shouldn’t be much different this time around, especially with the Raptors looking to gain an easy win and tighten their grip on the Eastern Conference.

Lonzo Ball - PG, vs. DEN ($7,800)

Since returning to the court after missing some time with an knee ailment, Ball has played relatively well. He had a rough go against Cleveland on Sunday, scoring only five points on 2-for-11 from the field and 1-for-6 from deep, but he should find his shot, at least from behind the arc. He has hit at least 35 fantasy points in five of his last seven games, and with Denver mediocre on the defensive end, Ball should bounce back just fine.

Other FanDuel DFS Guards to Consider: Kemba Walker, Jeff Teague, Isaiah Thomas, Milos Teodosic, Victor Oladipo, Lou Williams, Devin Booker, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine, Will Barton, Gary Harris, Jamal Murray

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Anthony Davis - PF, vs. CHA ($12,900)

He had 10 blocks against Utah. Enough said.

Julius Randle - PF, vs. DEN ($8,100)

It is laughable FanDuel has Julius Randle priced at $8,100, but then have Larry Nance Jr. priced at $7,800. I’m not implying that Nance isn’t on par with his price, because he is. However, you could argue that Randle is very underpriced. He dropped 36 points and pulled down 14 boards against Cleveland a few nights ago. Will he do that against Denver? Probably not, but he’ll still play well. His nickname should be Rodney Dangerfield because the dude gets no respect.

Nemanja Bjelica - SF, @ WAS ($5,800)

Where the hell did this guy come from? It’s safe to say, he probably wasn’t selected in any fantasy drafts back in October, and if it wasn’t for Jimmy Butler getting hurt, three quarters of the population wouldn’t even know who he is. However, apparently it only takes a 30-point performance against Boston, and a solid game on national TV against the defending champs to get noticed. Sounds easy.

Corey Brewer - SF, @ ATL ($4,100)

First off, I’d like to thank Mr. Brewer for his stellar play as of late. In my 16-team fantasy league, I snagged him right up after being faced with yet another Danilo Gallinari injury. Gallinari is a mess and I should have known better than to draft him. I mean, come on, the guy had a glute injury earlier in the season. Who the hell injures their ass? OK, getting back on track, I like Brewer and for $4,100 against the Hawks, you should too.

Other FanDuel Forwards to Consider: LeBron James, Paul George, Denzel Valentine, Wilson Chandler, Serge Ibaka, Tobias Harris, Paul Millsap, Ersan Ilyasova

FanDuel DFS Centers

Joel Embiid - C, vs. IND ($9,800)

I like Embiid over Karl-Anthony Towns not because I think that he is a better player, even though that debate is and will be ongoing on topic for a long time, but because Embiid should see similar production while saving you a few bucks in the process. Indiana has had their issues in the middle this season, and as a result, I expect Embiid to have a good night, especially since he should be extra-motivated to win and gain ground on Indy in the chase for playoff seeding.

Other FanDuel DFS Centers to Consider: Karl-Anthony Towns, Nikola Jokic, DeAndre Jordan, Jonas Valanciunas, Luke Kornet (if Enes Kanter sits)
