Expert NBA DFS Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel (3/10/24)

Free expert daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. Use Kyle's NBA DFS expert picks to building winning DFS lineups on March 10, 2024.

Welcome to the Sunday slate! We have a great seven-game slate that starts an hour earlier than normal. Lucky for us, we have very little when it comes to injury news. We won't have to wait for last-second game-time decisions. Luke Kennard, GG Jackson, and Jalen Suggs are about the only players we have to look out for. But always keep an eye on potential last-second injury reports as anything can happen throughout the morning.

The key to succeeding in NBA DFS is making adjustments during the day as injury information becomes available. But it's always important to have a game plan, with the best players and spots circled before making those adjustments. To keep up with all the latest developments and get access to updated projections, grab an NBA season pass and access our RotoBaller Premium Discord, where @chiefjustice6 is talking about the slate until lineups lock!

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/10/24. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 6:00 PM EST on FanDuel and DraftKings.

Today's NBA DFS Core Plays

Let's first look at our premium projections to see who we want to target for our top spend-ups tonight.

De'Aaron Fox is personally one of my favorite plays on the slate, he has been putting up insane numbers recently and I like him as a pivot from the more chalky plays in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Brunson.

I am having a hard time choosing between Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler. Both are in great matchups but I think with the rest of my core Bam fits a little better at least on FD where I can fit him and Jarrett Allen. Either way, I will be having a little bit of both of them in my lineups!

Jarrett Allen is another one of my favorite picks on the slate, with no Mobley this just skyrockets his potential and should be looked at as one of the top centers on the slate.

Top Core Plays:

  1. De'Aaron Fox vs HOU ($9,200 DK; $9,900 FD)
  2. Bam Adebayo vs. WAS ($8,200 DK; $8,300 FD)
  3. Jarrett Allen vs. BKN ($8,400 DK; $9,000 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Value Plays

Using the same premium NBA projections, let's sort them by fantasy points per dollar to see what players are popping as the best values tonight.

Caris LeVert is by far one of my favorite value plays on the slate, as is probably a lot of other people but everything is set up perfectly for him to have a great night. That being said I will be riding with him in a good majority of my lineups.

The Miami Heat trio of Jimmy Butler, Terry Rozier, and Bam Adebayo all grade out extremely well and although it might be tough to get all three I do recommend grabbing Terry and pairing with one or the other in your lineups!

When the minutes are there Corey Kispert can be sneaky value. If we get what he is projected for at around 25 FP I will gladly take that from him. And even with him not being pictured here, Richaun Holmes grades out extremely well too with Marvin Bagley still out.

Top Value Plays:

  1. Caris Levert, CLE vs BKN ($6,600 DK; $6,900 FD)
  2. Terry Rozier, MIA vs. WAS ($7,000 DK; $6,800 FD)
  3. Richaun Holmes, WAS @ MIA - ($4,700 DK; $5,700 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Lineup Picks: Point Guard

One of my favorite spend-up options tonight is De'Aaron Fox. He has been on a monster run, dropping 50+ fantasy points in seven of his last eight games. With that, this game is projected to be the highest scoring on the slate so who else but Fox to start your stack with? Houston is also giving up the third most fantasy points per game to opposing PGs over the last 15 games. I expect Fox to finish with another 50-burger tonight.

Scary Terry Rozier has slid into a nice role as the starting PG for the Miami Heat and since the trade deadline has averaged 34.3 FP per game. Some of this is because of injuries on the team but his 30+ minutes a night is a nice spot for the player right in that 7k range. On top of that Washington is giving up the most fantasy points per game to opposing PGs over the last 15 games.

Normally I like to find a value play at each position but PG is pretty dry tonight. Just one of those positions where it is probably better to spend up. That being said Tyrese Haliburton is an excellent option. He is a true dual threat who can score at will as well as get the ball to his teammates, the total on the game is one of the better ones which should result in Tyrese seeing more production overall. He is on the higher side price-wise though so hopefully we can see him get closer to 50.

Top PG Options:

  1. De'Aaron Fox vs HOU ($9,200 DK; $9,900 FD)
  2. Terry Rozier vs. WAS ($7,000 DK; $6,800 FD)
  3. Tyrese Haliburton @ ORL ($9,000 DK; $9,300 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Lineup Picks: Shooting Guard

Caris LeVert grades out as one of the best SG options of the night. Not only has he had to step up in the absence of Donovan Mitchell but Max Strus has been out the last three games as well. This has made his usage skyrocket, leading him to be in position for a monster night. Brooklyn is also giving up the fifth most fantasy points to SGs over the last 15 games.

Kelly Oubre Jr. has benefited the most from Tyrese Maxey being gone. In the three games where Maxey was out, Oubre finished those nights with 42, 35, and 30. All with 34+ minutes, although the Knicks have been a defensive nightmare, they have been giving up a decent amount of fantasy points to opposing SGs/SFs. The usage is there, Kelly should be able to take advantage of it.

I think there are two other options here. Dejounte Murray is intriguing because his production over the last seven games since Trae Young went down has been on fire but he is pretty pricey. On the other hand, CJ McCollum has a fantastic matchup against the Hawks who are giving up the second most fantasy points to opposing SGs. Unfortunately, CJ's production hasn't been as great but at his price it might be a solid GPP option to grab.

Note: If you are desperate for some value at the guard position here are some darts to potentially throw out there: Isaac Okoro, Duncan Robinson, Cameron Payne, Cole Anthony(If Jalen Suggs is out)

Top SG Options:

  1. Caris Levert vs BKN ($6,600 DK; $6,900 FD)
  2. Kelly Oubre Jr. @ NYK ($6,500 DK; $6,700 FD)
  3. CJ McCollum @ ATL ($7,500 DK; $7,300 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Lineup Picks: Small Forward

The SF position is usually one of the more difficult options to look at. The first one that sticks out to me though is Jimmy Butler. This matchup is perfect for him to have a great outing. In his last seven outings he has averaged 45 FP a game and the great thing about Jimmy is his minutes are always safe. He had 40 FP in this matchup earlier in the season and I have no doubt we see the same or even better.

Trey Murphy has had some sneaky upside recently. It feels like he has been buried but he has been a crucial part of the bench for the Pelicans. He has averaged 35 FP per game over the last six games and the Hawks are giving up the most points to opposing SFs over the last 15 games putting Trey into a great spot to score big.

I prefer Bojan Bogdanovic more so on FD where he is cheaper as there is a bit less risk involved. Bojan has by no means been consistent, he has a few single-digit outings and we are hoping to avoid that. It seems his minutes are directly in connection with Brunson being in or out and with Jalen Brunson playing his minutes might take a hit. It's a risky shot but if he can get close 25-30 minutes then it could pay off.

Top SF Options:

  1. Jimmy Butler vs. WAS ($8,400 DK; $8,800 FD)
  2. Trey Murphy III @ ATL ($5,900 DK; $6,500 FD) Prefer on DraftKings
  3. Bojan Bogdanovic vs. PHI ($5,300 DK; $4,800 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Lineup Picks: Power Forward

Sabonis is projected to be one of the highest-scoring guys on the slate. The only problem is the price! On a slate that lacks solid value, it will make for a tough build but he is going to be a big play in cash games.

Deni Avdija has played well recently. His role has expanded and his averaging 35 minutes a game over his last six games. It is a tough matchup but he is a good price and is worth a look for someone who can get you 5x the price.

Bruno Fernando is an interesting play, with Jalen Johnson and Onyeka Okongwu out his minutes have increased over the last three games where he is averaging around 22 minutes. Those minutes are fairly safe to as Clint Capela rarely plays 30+ minutes and Bruno is now the backup PF/C guy they need off the bench. He has a decent matchup and for his price, it is worth a shot on some decent value.

Note: Dean Wade grades out as one of the best value plays on the slate, he has had 30 minutes in his last two games but has done almost nothing with those minutes. He is fairly cheap I think you can avoid but it won't hurt to have him in a couple of lines.

Top PF Options:

  1. Domantas Sabonis vs. HOU ($10,800 DK; $11,000 FD)
  2. Deni Avdija @ MIA ($6,800 DK; $6,900 FD)  Prefer on FanDuel
  3. Bruno Fernando vs. NOP ($4,500 DK; $4,300 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Lineup Picks: Center

Jarrett Allen is coming off one of his best games of his career where he finished with 70 FP! With Mobley out for an extended period of time, this only opens up Allen to continue to have monster games. Brooklyn is a mid-tier matchup and Claxton is no slouch. Allen has averaged a double-double against his former team and should be good for another big game.

As you can tell I like Miami on this slate. Bam Adebayo is graded out as one of the best Centers by value on this slate and is projected to be nearly 5.68x his price. He is also the fifth most expensive center on the slate and is a great pivot from someone like Sabonis. The matchup is juicy too as the Wizards give up the second most fantasy points to opposing Centers. As long as the Heat don't blow the Wizards out then the Miami stack should be one of the best of the slate.

On the other side of this game, some value opened up with Bagley still out with a back injury. This opens the door for Richaun Holmes to get some decent run-in. He is by far one of the cheaper Centers on the slate with potential upside. In his last game starting against the Hornets, he finished with 35 FP in 36 minutes of play. If we get anything close to that he will be nearly hitting 7x his price which should be some elite value.

  1. Jarrett Allen vs. BKN ($8,400 DK; $9,000 FD)
  2. Bam Adebayo vs. WAS ($8,200 DK; $8,300 FD)
  3. Richaun Holmes @ MIA ($4,700 DK; $5,700 FD) Prefer on DraftKings

Today's Top NBA DFS Game Stacks

  1. Houston @ Sacramento (233.5 total)
  2. Miami @ Washington (229.5 total)
  3. Indiana @ Orlando (226.5 total)

Today's Top NBA DFS Avoids

  1. The Grizzlies vs. Thunder game has blowout written all over it. The Thunder have been blowing out bad teams and Memphis is one of those bad teams that could be added to this list. On top of that, the Thunder are expensive and the total on the game is low. If you need some value Grizzlies might be a decent option but I would just stay away from this game.
  2. As I said before the optimizer really likes Dean Wade but until I see some production with the minutes I believe he can be safely avoided.
