DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Week 3 Daily College Fantasy Football - Saturday Late Night (9/17/22)

Jacob Cowing - CFB DFS Lineup Picks, Daily Fantasy College Football, NFL Draft Rookie - icon rotoballer

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the Saturday Late Night Week 3 (9/17/22) slate. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

Had enough? I didn't think so! I could really get used to this! Our nightcap on this Saturday features a rather large five-game slate with a pair of top-15 teams on it and a top-five team...in FCS. That's right...we have the fabled Bison on a DFS slate finally! They visit the Wildcats in Arizona in what promises to be a great game!

As if finally having NDSU on a slate isn't enough, we have USC taking on Fresno. That's going to be a great one. Utah hosts reeling San Diego State. We have a MAC team heading to the desert to take on the Sun Devils. We close this out on the islands with Timmy Chang looking for his first win as coach of his alma mater. This is going to be a blast, so I hope you're not tired!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/17/22 locking at 10:00 pm eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Jake Haener, Fresno State ($8,000)

The Bulldogs are going to have to throw to keep up with this talented USC offense just like Stanford had to. The difference is that Haener doesn't make many mistakes. At least one and maybe as many as three of his receivers will be playing on Sundays in the near future. This is a well-versed offense where many of the pieces have been together for at least two years. Haener has nice upside against a USC defense that will try to rely on mistakes that Haener just doesn't make.

Cam Miller, North Dakota State ($4,800)

Miller has been mostly a spectator for the first two games, watching his backfield carve up Drake and North Carolina A&T by a combined 99-17 score. Miller is going to have to be more involved in the offense here to have a chance at beating Arizona. He has been solid enough when asked to throw this season. After all, he has four touchdown passes on just 21 attempts. I'm curious to see what Miller can do when he's turned loose. This could be that game. For the price, it's definitely worth finding out.

Also consider: Caleb Williams, USC ($10,200); Cameron Rising, Utah ($7,400); Joe Mischler, Duquesne ($4,500)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Jordan Mims, Fresno State ($7,900)

Mims saw his price take a massive leap after his second consecutive game over 30 DraftKings points. A third could be in store here. USC's defense is better against the run, but Mims is involved in the passing game as well. He's a great runner and an explosive piece of this offense. Remember what E.J. Smith did to USC last week? Mims is E.J. on steroids. Not literally...but you get the point.

Xazavian Valladay, Arizona State ($6,900)

The FBS's active rushing yards leader piled up another 100+ yards on a really good Oklahoma State defense last week. Depending on how many carries he gets in this one, Valladay could double that total. He has among the highest ceilings on this entire slate, and definitely has the highest within this price range. We could see a monster from Valladay tonight.

Dedrick Parson, Hawaii ($5,000)

The Warriors have a ton of issues this year, but Parson isn't one of them. He's active in the passing game, which is a must for a Hawaii back. He has carried the ball enough times to give him the kind of usage we want, but the lack of a consistent passing attack has capped his upside. We should finally get to see what Hawaii's offense is capable of against Duquesne. I, for one, am looking forward to it.

Also consider: Travis Dye, USC ($7,200); Samson Evans, Eastern Michigan ($5,600); Michael Wiley, Arizona ($5,200); Hunter Luepke, North Dakota State ($4,800)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Jordan Addison, USC ($10,300)

Addison was the best receiver in the country last year. The only thing that has changed is the color of the uniform. Caleb Williams is as good or better than Kenny Pickett. There are lots of mouths to feed for the Trojans, but Addison is so electric that his mouth is always open. He has four touchdowns in two games and racked up a staggering 172 receiving yards last year. He is already Williams' favorite target. His numbers should only get better.

Jacob Cowing, Arizona ($7,600)

Cowing is Addison on a mac-and-cheese budget. Like Addison, he already has four touchdowns on the season. Mississippi State kept Cowing under wraps after he caught passes last week, but he still picked up 16.8 DraftKings points despite just 38 receiving yards. This could be a huge game for Cowing, especially since the Bison are going to give Arizona everything they can handle.

Brant Kuithe, Utah ($4,500)

The best tight end in college has as many touchdowns as games played on the season so far. Yes, the Utes got him in the end zone in the romp over Southern Utah in which the starters sat most of the second half while the Utes scored their most points since 1973. That won't happen here. Kuithe will be involved against the Aztecs because they're going to take away the deep ball. We should see another strong performance out of Kuithe.

Nikko Remigio, Fresno State ($4,000)

DraftKings did us another solid by dropping the price on Remigio despite him notching another 100-yard game. He only has one touchdown on the season, but that's okay. Remigio has more receptions than Cropper and always seems to be open. He's a lock for me at this price. I don't care if he was playing the 1985 Bears, I would still use him at this price.

Also consider: Jalen Cropper, Fresno State ($6,800); Tanner Knue, Eastern Michigan ($5,600); Dwayne Menders, Duquesne ($5,000); Jonah Panoke, Hawaii ($5,000); Noah Gindorff, North Dakota State ($4,000)
