DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (12/20/22)

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Tuesday (12/20/22). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

We have a bowl day-night doubleheader on our Tuesday. The bowls give us something to make the holiday season more tolerable. The good thing about the doubleheader is that we can tilt college football before we even leave work on Tuesday and then switch gears to NBA and college basketball on Tuesday night!

We kick off on the Smurf Turf in Boise for the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl between Eastern Michigan (my nemesis!!) and San Jose State. We end on the beach in Boca Raton for the Boca Raton Bowl between Liberty and Toledo. This is going to be a very interesting slate!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/20/22 locking at 3:30 pm eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Dequan Finn, Toledo ($6,700)

Tucker Gleason filled in nicely for Finn, showing that the future is bright for Toledo football. However, Finn's ankle looked fine in the MAC Championship and he is playing in this game against a Liberty team that was on both ends of the spectrum at different times this season. Finn had a pedestrian game through the air against Ohio, but he still ran for 86 yards. I want that rushing upside, especially when it comes this cheap in a pretty good matchup. Finn cleared 300 passing yards once this season, so he has ample upside through the air as well.

Taylor Powell, Eastern Michigan ($6,400)

Powell returned from an injury in Week 12 and closed the season with 581 yards and six touchdowns (one more rushing) and no turnovers over the last two games. The SJSU defense was tough all season, but Powell is the best pure passer on this slate so he likely has the highest upside. Both Cordeiro and Finn are better runners, but Powell is guaranteed to throw at least 30 passes in this one. Volume is king, folks.

Also consider: Chevan Cordeiro, San Jose State ($7,000); Kaidon Salter/Charlie Brewer, Liberty ($5,000)...only if you're REALLY desperate

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Samson Evans, Eastern Michigan ($7,100)

Evans closed the season strong with 450 rushing yards and seven touchdowns over the last four games alone! Even though Powell was scorching opponents through the air, Evans scored half of his touchdowns in the last four games. I would temper expectations here as the Spartans only allowed 122.6 rushing yards per game this year, but Evans mostly has the backfield to himself and can get the tough yards. He's a great cash play still.

Shedro Louis, Liberty ($6,000)

Dae Dae Hunter won't return for this game, so the backfield again belongs to Louis and T.J. Green. Louis has garnered more carries than Green, but both are solid options. That said, this is still a committee situation that is slightly less muddled than Toledo's. There's a chance that Liberty just rides the hot hand, so there is risk involved with both of them. Louis has been able to hold off Green for a couple of weeks now, so I'm leaning toward him.

Also consider: Kairee Robinson, San Jose State ($6,700); Micah Kelly, Toledo ($4,000)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Elijah Cooks, San Jose State ($7,800)

There is more than enough value to pay up for Cooks, who closed the season with 17 receptions for 246 yards and five touchdowns over the last two games. San Jose State isn't a pass-first team, but Cooks is still safe. He has 29 more receptions and 417 more yards than anyone else on the team. On top of that, Cooks caught 10 of the 20 touchdowns that the quarterbacks threw this season.

Demario Douglas, Liberty ($6,500)

Despite upheaval at the quarterback position for Liberty, Douglas still has at least seven receptions in each of the last six games. The volume is there, and the Flames even got creative with Douglas out of the backfield at times (he had a 75- yard touchdown run against UConn in Week 11). The bottom line is that this offense revolved around Douglas even when Dae Dae was healthy. They will get him the ball no matter what.

Dylan Drummond, Eastern Michigan ($5,800)

Someone has to catch those passes that Powell has been throwing. The Eagles have a strong receiving corps, but Drummond has been the most consistent. He finished with 16 receptions for 247 yards and a pair of touchdowns over the last three weeks. Knue gets more volume, but Drummond is the guy I want. The upside is there. I'm not opposed to using both and Knue is likely still better for cash, but I'm going with Drummond first in GPP formats.

Also consider: Tanner Knue, Eastern Michigan ($6,600); Jerjuan Newton, Toledo ($6,000); Dominick Mazotti, San Jose State ($5,000)
