Daily Fantasy Golf DraftKings Picks (PGA DFS): Quicken Loans National

Jordan Spieth holed-out from the bunker on the first playoff to defeat Daniel Berger and capture his 10th PGA Tour victory. He joins Tiger Woods as the the only golfer with 10 plus wins on Tour before turning 25. Spieth got so so lucky that his drive bounced off the trees and went right into the fairway and not out-of-bounds.

Anyways, I'll be looking to get back on top the PGA Expert leaderboard providing you with my DraftKings PGA DFS lineup picks for the Quicken Loans National. My goal as always is to help put together your optimal daily fantasy golf lineups. Additionally, if anyone has lineup questions before the start of the tournament Thursday morning, feel free to contact me via Twitter @Seth_Fink.

Reviewing Last Week's Pick

Great week I had.

Patrick Reed ($9,500): T-5, 9-under. A 2-0ver 72 in the third round ruined his chances to win.

Brandt Snedeker ($9,400): T-14, 7-under. A final-routd 6-under 66 catapulted him up the leaderboard.

Tony Finau ($8,700): T-17, 6-under.

Jim Furyk ($8,500): T-26, 5-under. A nice follow-up to a good U.S. Open showing.

Bubba Watson ($8,400): Cut. The only player I chose that was cut. Ugh.

Charley Hoffman ($7,300): T-3, 10-under. He was my sleeper for the tournament and sure played like one.

Graham DeLaet ($7,100): T-26, 5-under.

Danny Lee ($6,800): T-3, 10-under. Superb performance.

Quicken Loans National

Tiger Wood's tournament- which he won't even show up for- will be held at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Potomac, MD. The course is a 7,139-yard par 70. This is the first time TPC Potomac is hosting any PGA Tour event since the 2006 Kemper Open won by Ben Curtis.

Since this is the first time playing a tournament at this course in over 10 years, there is not much information to work with. However, this course hosted the 2012 and 2013 Mid-Atlantic Championship, a Web.com event.

Only three of the world's top-25 will be playing this weekend; Rickie Fowler, 9, Justin Thomas, 12, Patrick Reed, 17.  Kevin Chappell is just outside the top-25 Official World Golf Rankings. He's ranked 26th.

This is really tough to handicap and there's not a whole lot to work with. Therefore I will NOT be looking at any stats this weekend, rather recent form. If any players competing played in the 2013 or 2014 Mid-Atlantic Championship, that will count a little extra as well.

Fantasy Golf Lineup Picks for DraftKings (PGA DFS)

High-Cost Players

Rickie Fowler ($12,000) is the highest-priced player available and this will be his first time competing since the U.S. Open, where he should've claimed his first major. I don't think Fowler will pay off his large price tag.

Patrick Reed ($11,200) is my top-choice this week. He's been on a hot streak of late and I'll jump on the Reed bandwagon for another week, especially after his T-5 showing last week.

Tony Finau ($9,100) is another high-costing player I like. He had a strong finish at the Travelers last week and I expect him to continue his all-around good play.

Middle-Cost Players

David Lingmerth ($8,500)

He won the 2012 Mid-Atlantic Championship at this course. Lingmerth has had a nice run of five consecutive tournaments without being cut, which includes a T-15 at the Memorial, T-27 at the U.S. Open, and T-17 last week at the Travelers.

Ollie Schniederjans ($8,300)

This pick is strictly because I've continually picked him since I began this column two years ago. He hasn't been playing the best of golf lately, but also hasn't missed a cut in five tournaments.

Morgan Hoffman ($7,800)

He was T-6 here at the Mid-Atlantic Championship back in 2012. He finished T-26 last week at the Travelers.

Billy Hurley ($7,600)

The Quicken Loans National defending champion practices at TPC Potomac and has played in two tournaments here, the 2013 Mid-Atlantic Championship where he was cut, and the Booz Allen Classic in 2006. That alone gives me the confidence to choose him despite being cut at two straight tournaments.

Low-Cost Players

Adam Hadwin ($6,900)

He competed at both the 2012 and 2013 Mid-Atlantic Championships finishing T-25 and T-47. His last top-25 finish was at the RBC Heritage way back in April.

Jim Herman ($6,800)

He played in both Mid-Atlantic Championships; cut in 2012 and T-15 in 2013. He was cut last week at the Travelers, but was T-19 the Memorial, T-25 at THE PLAYERS, and T-18 at the Texas Open.

Best of luck!
