Titans wide receiver (WR) Corey Davis is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup to target as a free agent addition for Week 8 of the 2020 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: With Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry, and A.J. Brown on the roster, it makes sense to find Corey Davis buried under the top-three players of the Titans and not making many headlines these days. If you add the fact that poor Corey missed Weeks 4, 5, and 6 due to different reasons, everything comes out perfectly. Now, with just four games played and rostered in almost only one-of-four Yahoo! leagues, Davis is starting to look like a steal... while you can still find him for free in the WW.
You might not believe this, but Davis has been a virtual 12+ PPR-point scorer through all four games he's been part of this season. He's also had a couple of 15+ PPR performances, including his last one (15.5). This past Sunday, against a Pittsburgh sturdy defense, Davis logged all of 10 targets (led the team), caught 6 passes for 35 yards, and although that only amounted to an average of 5.8 Y/R, he made the most of those receptions scoring a touchdown.
Corey Davis was only bested in snaps by A.J. Brown (53 to 52), though Davis finished with more targets (10 to 8). Both receivers scored a touchdown, but it is true that Brown absolutely destroyed Davis in yardage (153 to 35 receiving yards). Brown is the clear WR1, though, but there aren't many more options in this passing-offense other than Davis and TE Jonnu Smith (who put on a serious dud this past weekend).
Even if we consider Davis a WR3 in Tennesse below Brown and Jonnu, and knowing that the Titans are a run-first team (hey there, Henry!), Tannehill is playing at an incredible level and elevating his receivers every week. That makes Davis a 12 PPR-floor player with upside to finish as WR2 here and there, and most probably a weekly WR3 scorer and must-start at the FLEX spot in deeper leagues.
