BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team PPR Leagues
ROSTERED: 9% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: For someone as productive as Cole Beasley, it is a little surprising to find the wideout rostered in fewer than a league out of ten out there... The only reason (not a bad one, I have to admit) is that Buffalo already features two stud-WR in Stefon Diggs and John Brown, but even with that Beasley plays the short-route, safety-valve role to perfection and is a very good player to have rostered in almost any PPR league.
Beasley kicked the season off with 9.8 PPR points, improved to 12 in W2, and this past weekend leveled up to 16 PPR points to finish (pending MNF) as the 63rd-best player overall and WR26 of the week. He reached those marks by having his best game of the year so far by virtue of catching 6 of 7 targets for a nicely rounded 100 receiving yards and a sweet 16.7 Y/R on average. Truth be told, he only lacked a score he really deserved to have.
The most promising news regarding Beasley going forward is the potential injuries that Brown might carry for the next week(s). Brown was forced out of Sunday's match with a calf injury and that allowed Beasley to lead the team in targets even over Diggs. Beasley was already and clearly the WR3 of this team, but if Brown misses any time he'll undoubtedly be thrust into the WR2 role.
He's best suited for PPR leagues thanks to his high catch rates on short passes, and good for deeper leagues (if Brown is healthy) and a flex for swallower ones if Brown misses time.
