Chuba Hubbard's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Chuba Hubbard for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Sit In Leagues with 12 or Fewer Teams
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB4
ANALYSIS: Things are a mess in Carolina and that's especially true in the backfield. Despite consistently outplaying big-money free agent acquisition Miles Sanders, Hubbard has failed to impress the Carolina organization enough to earn a true lead role in the Panthers backfield. Sanders' workload spiked in a Week 11 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, leaving Hubbard with only 10 carries and two targets which he converted into 65 total yards.

While Hubbard has often been efficient while sharing the load with Sanders to varying degrees, he's playing behind a bad Carolina offensive line on a squad that has few dynamic players at the skill positions. The entire Panthers offense has struggled with rookie Bryce Young at the helm, including the backfield.
It's tough to get too excited about Hubbard - or Sanders - as this situation seems destined to be a good old-fashioned RBBC situation for the remainder of 2023. That said, fantasy managers in the deepest of leagues in need of FLEX help can give Hubbard a look, while managers in most leagues probably have better options available to them in Week 12.
