BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 2% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The Houston Texans are coming off playing one of the weirdest games in the history of the NFL. They went with a two-QB approach not because of injury or even underperformance, but just using a rotation-based scheme. Sometimes it was Davis Mills, sometimes it was Jeff Driskel manning the pocket.
One thing stayed the same the whole game, though: Chris Moore was the absolute and clear WR1 of the team last Sunday. That's mostly because of both Nico Collins and Brandin Cooks not being available, but even then Moore played to the greatest of levels we could have expected.
Moore put up 22.4 PPR points to the tune of a ridiculous 10-of-14 pass-catching outing in which he posted 124 receiving yards. It's actually a shame he didn't score a touchdown on the day, because it'd have just put the cherry on top of an extraordinary performance, let alone playing under two subpar, on-rotation quarterbacks!
The veteran wideout had already posted 10+ PPR tallies three times before this season but the he was on a three-game slump of not reaching even 8.0 PPR points. He clearly fixed that at Dallas with Houston nearly upseting the Cowboys even while using a hella weird QB system.
Don't get overly excited about landing Moore from your WW because he's definitely not a weekly 22-PPR player, but considering him a nice flier to deploy at the slot in deeper formats and into the playoffs with Collins/Cooks banged up and still to make their returns.
