Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller

5043 articles

You won't find a bigger Cubs fan than myself. Aside from my love of fantasy sports, which includes MLB, NFL and NBA, I own my own animal care business. I graduated from Columbia College in Chicago and currently reside in Chicago, IL. My love of fantasy sports started for me in the early 2000's and I have steadily been active with the same group of friends year in and year out for every league in baseball, basketball and football. I am hoping to help all RotoBaller members with any questions they may have. I consider myself an expert with minor league prospects, as it is a love of mine. I hope to give the best advice I can to the RotoBaller world!

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams will look to get back on track in a Week 11 matchup versus the New York Jets. Williams has been the standard boom or bust player this season, but the numbers favor the big receiver in this matchup. The Jets have allowed 194 yards per game to opposing […]

Keenan Allen Draws A Tasty Matchup In Week 11

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen will look to continue his strong season in a favorable matchup versus the New York Jets on Sunday. Allen has been a target and reception machine with Justin Herbert under center, but was held in check during Week 10 to just three catches and 39 yards, but he […]

Kalen Ballage Looks For Revenge Game In Week 11

Los Angeles Chargers running back Kalen Ballage will look to get revenge versus his former team in a Week 11 matchup versus the New York Jets. Justin Herbert Has Juicy Matchup In Week 11

Los Angeles Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert draws a favorable matchup against the New York Jets in Week 11. Clyde Edwards-Helaire Looks To Get Back On Track In 11

Kansas City Chiefs rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire will look to get back on track in a Week 11 matchup versus the Las Vegas Raiders. Le'Veon Bell Seeks Breakout Game In Week 11

Kansas City Chiefs running back Le'Veon Bell will look to have his first breakout game with the Chiefs in Week 11 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Patrick Mahomes Draws Favorable Matchup In Week 11

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will look for revenge against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11. The Raiders upset the Chiefs in Week 5, but it wasn't due to Mahomes. The MVP passed for 340 yards, two touchdowns and threw one interception in that contest. Things should be even easier for Mahomes in […]

Hunter Henry Picks Up Second Touchdown

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry scored his second touchdown of the season versus the Miami Dolphins in Week 10. Henry was also targeted six times on the evening and caught four balls for 30 yards. Henry has become touchdown dependent, but still remains a low-end TE1 at a position that has been tough […]

Mike Williams Only Catches Two Balls In Week 10

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams struggled to do much damage against the Miami Dolphins in Week 10. The big receiver drew five targets on the afternoon, but was only able to snag two balls for 38 yards. Williams has been a shaky option this season, because he has been inconsistent. Williams will get […]

Joshua Kelley Struggles In Week 10

Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Joshua Kelley remained a non-factor in Week 10 versus the Miami Dolphins. Kelley played behind Kalen Ballage in this contest and continues to see a decrease in work with Austin Ekeler (hamstring) and Justin Jackson on IR. Kelley was only able to muster 21 yards on seven carries and […]

Keenan Allen Held In Check In Week 10

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen struggled in Week 10 versus the Miami Dolphins. Allen was able to salvage his day with a late touchdown, but finished the game with just three catches for 39 yards on seven targets. Allen has been Justin Herbert's favorite option and managers would be wise to chalk this […]

Kalen Ballage Leads The Chargers Backfield In Week 10

Los Angeles Chargers running back Kalen Ballage was the lead man out of the backfield in Week 10 versus the Miami Dolphins. Ballage's only competition was rookie Joshua Kelley and Troymaine Pope was a non-factor in this matchup. Ballage responded with 18 carries for 68 yards and hauled in five of his six targets for […]

Justin Herbert Throws For Season-Low 187 Yards

Los Angeles Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert struggled on Sunday versus the Miami Dolphins. Herbert threw for a season-low 187 yards in Week 10 and threw one interception, but he did have a pair of passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown to help managers. He also rushed four times for 10 yards. The Dolphins Defense […]

Hunter Henry Draws Tough Matchup In Week 10

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry will look to get back on track versus the Miami Dolphins in Week 10. It won't be easy though, because the Dolphins have shut down opposing tight ends to under four receptions and 38 yards per contest. Henry has been healthy in 2020, but he hasn't done much […]

Mike Williams Has Favorable Matchup In Week 10

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams will look to put together his third consecutive good performance in Week 10 versus the Miami Dolphins. Keenan Allen Remains A WR1 In Week 10

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen will look to continue his strong season versus the Miami Dolphins in Week 10. The Dolphins has been vulnerable to the pass game and have allowed fellow wide receivers to put up close to […]

Troymaine Pope Can Offer Sneaky Value In Week 10

Los Angeles Chargers running back Troymaine Pope is scheduled to return in Week 10 from a concussion that held him out in Week 9. Pope came out of nowhere to receive 29% of the backfield work in Week 8 and he made the most of it by rushing 10 times for 67 yards and catching […]

Justin Herbert Looks For Another Big Game In Week 10

Los Angeles Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert will look to keep up his strong season against fellow rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins in Week 10. Hunter Henry Picks Up Four Catches

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry caught four balls for 33 yards against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. The Chargers have been pass heavy, but Henry is no longer a weekly […]

Joshua Kelley Continues To See Less Work

Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Joshua Kelley continues to struggle in his debut season. The rookie rushed nine time for 28 yards and caught five balls for 31 yards. Kelley opened the season as the Chargers backup, but has quickly slid down the depth chart. Kelley lost action to Troymaine Pope (concussion) in Week […]

Mike Williams Picks Up 81 Yards

Williams has been a boom or bust player on a weekly basis, but he has now put together two strong weeks in a row. Williams did leave the game with one play remaining […]

Keenan Allen Remains Consistent

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen continued his strong season on Sunday with nine catches for 103 yards and a touchdown versus the Las Vegas Raiders. Allen was questionable to play on Sunday with a sore throat, but was able to suit up and managers are thankful that he did. Allen has been Justin […]

Kalen Ballage Leads Chargers Backfield In Week 9

Los Angeles Chargers running back Kalen Ballage put together a nice performance on Sunday versus the Los Vegas Raiders. Ballage was recently promoted from the practice squad and became the lead back after Justin Jackson (knee) was injured on the teams opening drive. The Chargers elected to go with Ballage over rookie Joshua Kelley, who […]

Justin Herbert Tosses Two More Touchdowns

Los Angeles Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert put together another strong performance in Sunday's loss versus the Las Vegas Raiders. Herbert was 28-for-42 for 362 yards and a pair of touchdowns with no turnovers. Herbert briefly left in the fourth quarter with a knee injury after throwing his second touchdown to Gabe Nabers. Herbert was […]

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce put together another explosive game on Sunday versus the Carolina Panthers. Kelce was targeted 12 times in the contest and caught 10 balls for 159 yards. Tyreek Hill Scores Two More Touchdowns On Sunday

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill continued his strong season with two more touchdowns on Sunday. Hill was targeted 18 times and hauled in nine balls for 113 yards. Le'Veon Bell Continues To Struggle With Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs running back Le'Veon Bell continues to struggle for his new team. Clyde Edwards-Helaire Only Gets Five Carries

Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire posted another underwhelming performance on Sunday. The rookie didn't have many opportunities to his defense and only rushed five times for 14 yards.
