Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller

5043 articles

You won't find a bigger Cubs fan than myself. Aside from my love of fantasy sports, which includes MLB, NFL and NBA, I own my own animal care business. I graduated from Columbia College in Chicago and currently reside in Chicago, IL. My love of fantasy sports started for me in the early 2000's and I have steadily been active with the same group of friends year in and year out for every league in baseball, basketball and football. I am hoping to help all RotoBaller members with any questions they may have. I consider myself an expert with minor league prospects, as it is a love of mine. I hope to give the best advice I can to the RotoBaller world!

Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed the ball 17 times for 100 yards in a Week 3 loss versus the Los Angeles Chargers. He also chipped in with two receptions for nine yards and a touchdown. That was the good news, the bad news is that for a second straight week, CEH fumbled […]

Patrick Mahomes Tosses Two Interceptions In Week 3 Loss

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had a rough afternoon versus the Los Angeles Chargers in a Week 3 loss. The gunslinger only completed 27 of his 44 passes and 260 yards. Jared Cook Has Another Touchdown Taken Away In Week 3

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Jared Cook had a quiet afternoon in Week 3 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran caught two of his three targets for 27 yards. For a second straight week, Cook had a touchdown called back with the Chargers committing a penalty. The Chargers are operating one of the better […]

The big receiver entered the game with a touchdown in each of the Chargers first two games and caught seven balls for 122 yards and two touchdowns this afternoon. His second […]

Keenan Allen Scores First Touchdown Of 2021

DeAndre Hopkins Misses Second Straight Day Of Practice

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (ribs) missed his second straight practice on Thursday with a rib injury. Hopkins has only missed two games in his career, but it will be worth monitoring his practice status on Friday. One of the games best wide receivers, Hopkins will be a WR1 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. If […]

Miles Sanders Lands On Injury Report

Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (chest) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. There were no signs of Sanders getting hurt in Week 2, so it's possible the Eagles want to limit him and keep him fresh for a Week 3 battle versus the Dallas Cowboys. Regardless, managers should keep an eye on his […]

Josh Jacobs Misses Second Straight Practice

Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (ankle) missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday with an ankle injury. Jacobs missed Week 2 and managers should check back to see his status for Friday's practice. If Jacobs misses practice on Friday, it would be very unlikely that he will suit up in Week […]

Dalvin Cook Misses Second Straight Practice

Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (ankle) missed his second consecutive practice on Thursday. The star running back hurt himself in Week 2, but remained in the game and was later diagnosed with a sprained ankle. Chargers Defense Could Be Without Joey Bosa

The Los Angeles Chargers defense already have a tough task on hand in Week 3 versus the Kansas City Chiefs and now could be without Joey Bosa (ankle, foot). Danny Amendola Among Texans Inactives

Houston Texans wide receiver Danny Amendola (hamstring) will be among the team's inactives in Week 3 versus the Carolina Panthers. Jared Cook Has Favorable Matchup In Week 3

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Jared Cook will look for his first touchdown of the season versus the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3. Mike Williams Looks To Continue Strong Start To Season In Week 3

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams will look to put together another strong performance in Week 3 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. The sophomore signal-caller has been off to a rocky start in the fantasy community and has thrown for 675 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions thus far. Although he […]

Travis Kelce Continues To Be The Top Tight End Option In Week 3

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will once again be the top tight end entering a Week 3 matchup versus the Los Angeles Chargers. The league's top tight end has been off to a hot start this year and has caught 13 balls for 185 yards and three touchdowns over the first two weeks. […]

Tyreek Hill Should Return To Form In Week 3

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill will look to bounce back in Week 3 versus the Los Angeles Chargers. Hill had a rough Week 2 versus the Baltimore Ravens with just 3 receptions for 14 yards and one rushing attempt for 15 yards. It was a far cry from the 11 receptions and 197 […]

Clyde Edwards-Helaire Will Look To Improve In Week 3

Patrick Mahomes Remains A QB1 In Week 3

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will once again be a QB1 in a Week 3 battle versus the Los Angeles Chargers. Dallas Keuchel Allows 11 Hits In No-Decision

The veteran went five innings and allowed 11 hits, two runs, one walk and struck out two on the evening. The lefty has had a very rough year on the mound and is 8-9 with an ugly 5.18 ERA […]

Bradley Chubb To Undergo Surgery On Wednesday

Denver Broncos defensive end Bradley Chubb will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his ankle Wednesday. Chubb suffered the ankle injury Week 2 and exited that contest early. With an expected recovery time of six-to-eight weeks, Chubb is a safe bet to land on Injured Reserve in the coming days. The Broncos have one of the […]

Patriots Bring In Anthony Gordon And Javon Wims For Workouts

The New England Patriots brought in quarterback Anthony Gordon and wide receiver Javon Wims for a workout on Tuesday. Gordon was most recently with the Kansas City Chiefs this preseason, but lost a battle with veteran quarterback Chad Henne for the No. 2 spot. Wims has spent the all three years of this career with […]

Trevor Lawrence Leads League In Uncatchable Passes

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has been wildly inaccurate to begin his young career. The first overall pick in this year's draft, Lawrence has been hyped as a once in a generation talent. Despite the hype and opportunity to run the show in Jacksonville, Lawrence leads the league with 36% of his passes being uncatchable. […]

John Brown Works Out For Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons brought in free-agent wide receiver John Brown for a workout on Tuesday. Brown was cut by the Las Vegas Raiders at the end of training camp with the team electing to go with their younger options at the position.
