Max Homa started to play better last week at the WM Phoenix Open. He finished five shots off from the leaders and looked a good deal more confident. Could that carry over to the Genesis this week? It's possible. He ranks near the top-40 in putting and total strokes gained at .78 which ranks 44th. Also, Homa enjoys this course. He finished tied for fifth two years ago before pulling off the win in 2021. Again, that form serves him well. He must minimize mistakes around the green. If he does not have to scramble too often (ranked 160th), Homa can easily contend again.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
