DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (12/7/21): NBA DFS Lineups

We have a smaller three-game slate on DraftKings tonight, but the player list isn't littered with injured players. Of course, that routinely changes about an hour before lock nowadays, so don't forget to check your lineup before the festivities begin. Lock is a half-hour later tonight, so that helps!

We begin with Dallas hosting the Nets. The Knicks also head down to Texas, but they have to go all the way to San Antonio to take on the Spurs. We close this out west with Boston heading to L.A. to face the Lakers. This is a small slate, but it's going to be a fun one!

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/7/21. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

DraftKings Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Dejounte Murray - PG, SA v. NYK ($9,500)

Is Murray matchup-proof? He has at least 48 DraftKings points in six straight and eight of the last nine games. That includes laying 60 on the Clippers and nearly putting up that mark on the Suns and Boston. Don't expect a ceiling game out of Murray against the Knicks, but 50 is still a real possibility. I like the consistency of Murray lately and the fact that the Spurs are letting him play around 35 minutes per game. His floor would seem to be safer than most.

Dennis Schroder - PG, BOS at LAL($6,400)

I don't usually go after revenge narratives, but there is a very real one here. Schroder wanted to stay in L.A., but His Highness wasn't convinced that Schroder belonged there. Schroder and the Celtics blew out the Lakers in the Garden a couple of weeks ago and Schroder took a couple of jabs at the Lakers. Since then the Lakers have only been worse against guards and Schroder has been putting up big numbers with Jaylen Brown out. Brown is finally listed as questionable, but I think the Celtics will ease him back into action even if he does play. We could see a big one from Schroder tonight.

Patty Mills - PG/SG, BKN at DAL ($4,800)

Mills is the volume scorer that the Nets need to spread the floor with Kyrie Irving unavailable. Mills doesn't do much anymore besides score, but he takes some of the pressure off of Harden. With Joe Harris now undergoing surgery, Mills remains locked into a starting role even though he isn't priced like it. You can still play roulette with a Knicks guard situation that has cleared up some with the removal of Kemba Walker from the rotation, but I prefer the sure minutes and production of Mills.

Others to consider: James Harden ($10,700), Derrick White ($6,200), Marcus Smart ($6,000), Derrick Rose ($5,100)

DraftKings Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jayson Tatum - SF/PF, BOS at LAL ($9,400)

There are a lot of high-dollar options out there tonight, but Tatum could be up there with the best of them. He unloaded on the Lakers a couple weeks ago for 64.75 DraftKings points in just 33 minutes. The Lakers are expected to be back to full strength tonight, but you could argue that actually makes them a worse defensive team. If only they could clone Anthony Davis a few times on the defensive end. They can't, and one A.D. can't control all of Boston's weapons even if Jaylen Brown remains out.

Kristaps Porzingis - PF, DAL vs. BKN ($7,600)

I know....I know. We've all been burned by the Unicorn in DFS, mostly since his trade to Dallas. This really is a good matchup for him. I know that means nothing when Porzingis is involved, but the options are limited on this slate. If Luka ends up sitting for some reason, we need to prioritize Porzingis. Porzingis has at least 40 DraftKings points in eight of the last ten games that he has played in. Right now he makes for a solid play, but his ceiling isn't what it used to be.

Doug McDermott - SF, SA vs. NYK ($4,000)

McDermott has only been back for two games, but he has racked up 51 DraftKings points in those two games. That's a great return for a value pick. The good news is that McDermott isn't just a scorer. He's a solid passer and a good rebounder. The minutes will be there for Dougie with Devin Vassell still out. As long as Vassell remains out, McDermott is one of the safer value plays out there.

Others to consider: Luka Doncic ($10,900), Alec Burks ($6,700), Evan Fournier ($4,700), Obi Toppin ($3,100)

DraftKings Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Julius Randle - PF/C, NYK at SA ($9,100)

Randle isn't quite the fantasy behemoth that he was last season, but he is still putting up strong numbers across the board. He plays big minutes and is heavily involved in the offense. The Spurs are going to have problems matching up both Randle and Mitch Robinson. I have a feeling we'll see Poeltl on Randle more often than not, but it's still a good matchup for the more athletic Randle. My only issue with Randle is he's barely in my top five favorite players on the night and he's priced too high to fit in with two of the others. However, in a large field GPP he could provide good numbers at low ownership.

Jakob Poeltl - C, SA vs. NYK ($5,900)

The Spurs still don't play Poeltl more than 30 minutes, but he produces well when he's in there. Poeltl is more involved in the offense this year and he has always been an excellent defender. He is averaging a double-double since returning from virus protocols on November 18. His price is still low enough to consider him a strong value play tonight.

Dwight Howard - C, LAL vs. BOS ($3,800)

The Lakers have made it clear that the center job will be evaluated on a game-by-game basis. Howard can still produce very good numbers when he is on the court long enough. He picked up 15.5 DraftKings points in the first game against the Lakers despite playing just ten minutes in that game. Howard has played over 20 minutes in the last two games and has produced 55 DraftKings points in 56 minutes. If Howard earns the start, lock him in. Even if he doesn't, Howard is cheap enough to warrant a look at this price based on his recent performances.

Others to consider: Al Horford ($7,100), LaMarcus Aldridge ($5,700), Mitchell Robinson ($4,100), Enes Freedom ($3,400)
