FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (11/29/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Juan Carlos Blanco highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 11/29/21, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

We're set for a nine-game slate Monday night, and there seems to be a decent enough balance of competitive and potentially lopsided affairs, along with a good mix of lower-scoring affairs and offensive showcases.

There's a relatively light injury report as well, so even if the biggest names on it (Nikola Jokic, Jimmy Butler) were to sit out, there is still more than a large enough player pool to ensure we can differentiate in tournaments.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/29/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward and center on FanDuel, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle and lower end of the salary scale. You can also check out DraftKings lineup picks and injury news before lineups lock. Good luck, RotoBallers.

FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Luka Doncic, PG – vs. CLE ($10,600)

Doncic has averaged 48.7 FD points per game for the season and has scored 53.3 and 48.8 in his first two games back from a three-game absence due to knee and ankle injuries. The star point guard should have ample opportunity for another strong return Monday, considering the Cavaliers are ranked No. 23 in offensive efficiency allowed to point guards (26.3 percent) and the fourth-most FD points per game (50.1) to the position as well.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, PG – at HOU ($8,200)

SAG came back from a two-game absence in remarkable fashion on Friday against the Wizards, posting 43.1 FD points across 34 minutes. Gilgeous-Alexander is still atypically struggling with his efficiency (career-worst 40.3 percent shooting), but the 23-year-old does have a solid opportunity to put together a successful encore Monday. The Rockets are on a two-game winning streak, but they've given up the third-most FD points per game to point guards over the last seven contests (52.4), along with the 10th-highest offensive efficiency to the position (25.8 percent).

Lonzo Ball, PG – vs. CHA ($6,700)

The Ball Brothers will be in the spotlight Monday night in a showdown at United Center, and on a potential fantasy-point-per-dollar basis, I like Lonzo's prospects a bit better. Charlotte has allowed 45.5 FD points per game to PGs for the season, and Ball, while still struggling from in front of the arc, is shooting a career-best 43.2 percent from distance. Charlotte is allowing 35.5 percent shooting from behind the arc on the road -- as compared to 31.1 percent at home -- and he's averaging 32.5 FD points per contest over the last eight games while shooting an improved 47.0 percent overall, including 45.6 percent from distance, during that span.

Also consider: Donovan Mitchell ($8,000); Kyle Lowry ($6,800)

FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Paul George, PF – vs. NOP ($9,200)

George has been under 40 FD points in four of the last five games, so this salary may still be a tad high when taking that into account. However, PG-13's upside is beyond question, and a matchup against the Pelicans could be what he needs to give his production a boost. New Orleans is allowing an elevated 111.1 points per road game while surrendering the third-highest three-point percentage in that split as well (38.5). The Pels are also allowing the second-most FD points per game to small forwards over the last seven contests (47.2) along with the third-highest offensive efficiency (24.6 percent) to the position for the season.

Anthony Edwards, SF – vs. IND ($8,100)

Edwards is delivering nicely on his vast potential in his second season, posting career bests across the board. The star sophomore could still be better with is efficiency from the floor, but his significant usage (19.3 FGA per contest) and the fact he's already eclipsed 40 FD points on seven occasions makes him very worthy of his salary. The matchup against the Pacers is a good one on paper as well, as they've allowed the ninth-highest offensive efficiency to small forwards (22.9 percent), along with 42.3 FD points per contest to the position.

Kevin Porter Jr., SF – vs. OKC ($6,200)

Porter has scored 31.7 and 49.6 FD points in his first two games back from a three-game absence due to a thigh injury. The mercurial guard could certainly be playing with a bit of extra motivation at this point with the news John Wall is discussing a return to the court with Rockets management, and Porter therefore could once again be especially locked in versus a Thunder squad he should be able to enjoy his fair share of success in. OKC has been tough against point guards overall, but the Thunder has still allowed 41.5 FD points per game to PGs, and the salary Porter is currently carrying makes a figure in that neighborhood a very worthwhile return.

Also consider: Tobias Harris ($7,600)

FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Joel Embiid – vs. ORL ($10,100)

Embiid left no doubt as to his conditioning in his return from COVID-19 protocols Saturday night, playing 45 minutes against the Timberwolves and posting an eye-popping 68.3 FD points. The big man has now had a day to recover from that workload and draws another highly favorable matchup in the Magic, which have allowed the ninth-highest offensive efficiency to centers (33.9 percent) to centers, along with an elevated 56.2 FD points per game to the position. What's more, Orlando has allowed the fourth-highest offensive efficiency in the paint (61.7 percent), an area of the floor where Embiid can absolutely take over.

Jarrett Allen – at DAL ($7,700)

Allen has scored 38.2 to 41.7 FD points over first three games back from a three-game absence from an illness, part of a very impressive start to his season overall where he's averaged 35.4 FD points per contest. The young big man is averaging career bests in points, rebounds, assists and steals, and he's impressively scored at least 37 FD points in 10 of 17 games. The Mavericks make for excellent candidates to continue facilitating strong production, considering Dallas is allowing the second-highest offensive efficiency to centers (36.5 percent), along with the third-most FD points per contest to the position over the last seven (60.7).

Myles Turner – at MIN ($7,000)

Turner turned in a clunker last time out, posting just 12.1 FD points over 22 minutes against the Bucks on Sunday. However, the big man had scored 31.2 to 37.5 FD points in the four prior contests, and the matchup Monday does line up nicely for him. The Timberwolves have been facilitators of center production all season, allowing the fifth-highest offensive efficiency to the position (34.8 percent), along with 53.7 FD points per contest. Minnesota is also notably allowing the seventh-most blocks per game (5.5), while Turner is putting up his second-best figure in that category this season (2.8).

Also consider: Christian Wood ($7,400)
