Rondale Moore, Arizona Cardinals
Age: 21

Fantasy players have to remind themselves not to “overreact” to the preseason. The problem is in our efforts to not overreact, we sometimes overcompensate by underreacting. It is clear that Arizona was manufacturing touches for Rondale Moore in the first preseason game. That is enough to view Moore as a proactive dynasty pick. He belongs among the top-30 wide receivers in dynasty.
It is easy to see his grit and speed and he frankly will be a “fun” player to own. You are betting on his upside if you put a pick on him in the top-30, but it’s a worthwhile bet that has a plausible early career payoff.
Mike Davis, Atlanta Falcons
Age: 28

The story of fantasy football in 2020 can’t be written without a chapter dedicated to then Panthers RB Mike Davis. As strange and unlikely as that sounds, Davis was the key to many teams' fantasy football success last season. He finished 2020 as the RB11 in PPR leagues. The RB filled in admirably for Christian McCaffrey, who had a mostly lost season.
Rational fantasy players do not expect Mike Davis to come anywhere close to the amazing season he had in 2020; however, Davis is a player that has a chance at fantasy value given his updated circumstances. The back signed a two-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons. Davis is the definition of a volume-based projection. The problem with volume-based projections is they are volatile. If another RB emerges, that volume projection immediately shifts to that new player. Mike Davis is not guaranteed anything.
Atlanta seems to like Quadree Ollison as their RB2. Ollison is earning snaps with a nice training camp. It is also possible Atlanta adds another player to the RB room once cut downs happen. Mike Davis should be thought of as a low-end RB2 with weekly upside. His draft cost is currently in the 12th round of startups. Davis is another player who should have a handful of projectable starts. When dynasty startup teams are taking long shot upside picks in the teen rounds, it is ok to add a vet like Mike Davis who has a chance to make starts for your fantasy team in 2021.
Anthony Firkser, Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans let starting TE Jonnu Smith walk in free agency. The Titans also re-signed Anthony Firkser to a one-year deal. Firkser had somewhat of a breakout year in 2020, setting career-highs in receptions and receiving yards There's reason to believe the Titans feel comfortable with Firkser for a bigger role in 2021. His previous rank of TE30 made him more of a waiver wire player even in deeper formats. His updated ranking of TE20 indicates he can be added to the bottom of your dynasty roster. He has a chance to emerge as a player who gets 75+ targets in 2021. Fantasy managers got a small taste of Firkser’s upside in 2020 when the TE went 8/113/1 against Houston.
Veteran WRs Corey Davis and Adam Humphries are no longer with the team, and Anthony Firker is capable of lining up in the slot. Even with Julio Jones now on the team, Firkser should soak up enough weekly targets in the middle of the field to be useful in leagues that start two tight ends.
