The Detroit Lions picked up the fifth-year option for the 2022 season on center Frank Ragnow on Wednesday, according to a source. The move was widely expected after Ragnow had quickly become one of the league's best interior linemen in his first three seasons in the NFL. Ragnow will make $12.657 million fully guaranteed in 2022, but the option doesn't prevent the two sides from working out a long-term contract extension. He has been a fixture in Detroit's starting lineup since he was taken 20th overall in the 2018 draft. Ragnow played guard as a rookie, but he has spent the last two seasons as their starting center and has missed only three games in the last two years.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
