Lorenzo Cain Placed On Injured List With Quad Strain

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain (quad) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a quadriceps strain. Cain suffered the injury while running out a ground ball in the first inning of Tuesday's game. He stuck around for a few innings before he was lifted in the third inning. The team has already been without Christian Yelich (back) for the past two games so their outfield is looking extremely thin right now. Jackie Bradley Jr. will likely become an everyday player for now and should be the team's leadoff hitter while Cain is out. Billy McKinney, who is starting in left field on Wednesday, should also see an uptick in playing time.
