San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) is currently questionable for Week 3 against the New York Giants. However, he seems to be trending more towards doubtful as he has continued to sit out practice through Wednesday. Backup quarterback Nick Mullens could be in line to make his first start of the year if Garoppolo is out. If Garoppolo makes the start, he's going to be tough to trust in fantasy. The 49ers would likely proceed with caution with him as to not risk further injuring his sprained ankle.
