Chargers Bullish On Tyrod Taylor
Justin Herbert, but head coach Anthony Lynn is legitimately bullish on Tyrod Taylor, and possibly for more than one year as the starter in a post-Philip Rivers world. Just because the Chargers believe in Taylor as a starting signal-caller doesn't mean that they won't take Herbert or another QB with the No. 6 overall pick in this month's draft, but Taylor is widely expected to be their starter come Week 1. The Bolts have shown very little interest in signing Cam Newton as a free agent, and Lynn has experience with Taylor as his QB from their time in Buffalo. A dual-threat player with plenty of weapons around him, Taylor could surprise if he's handed the keys.
