Josh Allen Could Resume Throwing Soon
Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that rookie quarterback Josh Allen (elbow) is "not too far off" from throwing. However, Allen was still wearing a brace on his right elbow on Thursday. The Bills will likely be forced to start turnover-prone Nathan Peterman in Week 9 against the Bears after Derek Anderson suffered a concussion on Monday night. Things have gone from bad to worse for Buffalo this year, but getting Allen back eventually is something to look forward to. Allen will be a last-ditch QB2 whenever he returns to action, but at least it'll be an upgrade for the rest of the offensive weapons.
