Joe Burrow Logs Second Straight Full Practice on Thursday
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (toe) practiced in full for the second straight day on Thursday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. The star quarterback has been on Injured Reserve since mid-September after suffering a turf-toe injury in Week 2 that required surgery. However, it appears as though Burrow is nearing a return to the field in either Week 12 against the New England Patriots or Week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens (next Thursday). Across 17 games in 2024, Burrow completed 70.6% of his pass attempts for 4,918 yards, 43 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Assuming he can operate at full or near-full strength when he returns to the field, Burrow profiles as a must-start fantasy quarterback and holds league-winning upside down the stretch of the season. In the short term, Burrow's availability for Week 12 is unlikely to be determined until Friday. If he remains sidelined, veteran quarterback Joe Flacco (shoulder) would be in line to make his sixth straight start for Cincinnati.
