Former welterweight champion Leon Edwards suffered a second-round knockout loss to Carlos Prates on the main card of UFC 322 on Saturday. The opening round was uneventful but Edwards landed a few takedowns and controlled Prates for the most of the round. In the second round, Prates uncorked a devastating left hand that landed clean on the chin of Edwards, knocking him out. In 6:28 of action, Edwards landed two takedowns and 12 significant strikes. This is Edwards third consecutive loss. With the loss, Edwards dropped to 22-6 as a pro.--Alen Kurbasic
