Sam Leavitt Set to Enter Transfer Portal?
Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt (foot) is considered doubtful to return to the program next season, according to On3.com. Leavitt's camp is reportedly shopping him "at a high level." The redshirt sophomore began his career at Baylor before transferring to Arizona State in 2024. He led the Sun Devils to a Big 12 title and College Football Playoff berth as a redshirt freshman and has tossed 34 touchdowns and just nine interceptions through the first 20 starts with the program. Leavitt played in just seven games in 2025 before undergoing foot surgery, which ended his season. Quarterback-needy programs all around the country should be interested in the talented dual-threat signal caller if he hits the transfer portal as expected.
