Michael Fulmer Has Torn Meniscus
Michael Fulmer (knee) has been diagnosed with a torn right meniscus, according to manager Ron Gardenhire. Fulmer has already been ruled out for the rest of this season and will now need to undergo surgery this offseason. Rehab for a meniscus tear is typically around three months, so Fulmer might be delayed in spring training and could be rusty to start next season. After posting a 3-12 record, 4.69 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 7.5 K/9 over 24 starts, Fulmer's stock is certainly trending down heading into 2019.
