DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (8/11/18): MLB DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on August 11th, 2018. Troy Klauder's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We've got all 30 teams in action for an exciting day on DraftKings, where we have six different slates to choose from. The featured slate starts at 7pm eastern and covers 10 games.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 8/11/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @TroyKlauder.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Aaron Nola, PHI (@ SD) - $9,800

This one just feels too easy. Aaron Nola is among the best pitchers in baseball and is priced way too cheap at $9,800. Nola's got a 2.37 ERA with a 2.79 FIP this year, as well as a 2.41 Deserved Run Average. He would be underpriced regardless of the matchup, so it's even crazier that he's this low against the Padres. San Diego has just a .288 wOBA versus righties, the second-lowest mark in the league, and they've got the highest K-rate at 25.7%. Nola is must-start.

Tyler Skaggs, LAA (vs OAK) - $8,200

There's always some risk involved in starting a pitcher in his first start off of the disabled list, but Skaggs should have a great outing as long as he's healthy. His 10 run blow-up last time out was clearly injury related, as he's been outstanding this year, with a 3.11 FIP and a 25.0% K-rate. The A's lineup against lefties isn't the same high-powered offense that they are against righties - they've got a .316 wOBA against southpaws, ranking them 17th in the league. I'm all over Skaggs in GPP contests at this price.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

C - Evan Gattis, HOU (vs SEA) - $4,100

Gattis is one of the few worthwhile options at catcher if you're actually looking to spend any payroll at the position. He hasn't played much lately because the Astros had two series in the NL, where he couldn't DH. Gattis will be installed back into the Astros DH spot and hit in the middle of their order, a spot where he can rack up runs and RBIs.

1B - Anthony Rizzo, CHC (vs WAS) - $4,500

I love Rizzo in the Cubs leadoff spot, where he can maximize his plate appearances and get plenty of chances to score some runs. Rizzo has a .908 OPS with four homers over the last 15 days and should continue his hot hitting against Tanner Roark, who has a 4.21 ERA.

2B - DJ LeMahieu, COL (vs LAD) - $3,800

It's not easy to find cheap Coors Field bats, but LeMahieu is a very affordable play in the ultimate hitting environment in Colorado. He went deep last night and will have more opportunities for production out of the Rockies two-hole.

3B - Matt Duffy, TB (@ TOR) - $4,000

The Rays lineup should have a big day against Sam Gaviglio, who has a 5.08 ERA this year with a 4.79 FIP. Duffy should get himself involved batting second for the Rays in a hitter-friendly park in Toronto.

SS - Jorge Polanco, MIN (@ DET) - $3,900

Polanco is one of the cheapest three-hitters you will find, and he's facing off against Francisco Liriano, who has a 5.23 FIP. Try pairing him with some other Twins bats like Eddie Rosario or Miguel Sano for a mini-stack.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Matt Kemp, LAD (@ COL) - $4,000

Kemp is another cheap Coors bat to take advantage of. While he's been cold lately, he's still shredding left-handed pitching this year to the tune of a 140 wRC+. He's facing a lefty in Kyle Freeland and should be batting cleanup for the Dodgers, where he can drive in lots of runs.

Marcell Ozuna, STL (@ KC) - $3,800

Like Kemp, Ozuna is a lefty-crusher you can grab for a low price. He's got a 119 wRC+ against southpaws and will be batting fourth against Danny Duffy.

Justin Upton, LAA (vs. OAK) - $4,300

It's tough to believe in the success of A's starter Edwin Jackson, as he's got just an 18.5% K-rate and has a 4.01 FIP. Considering he had a 5.21 ERA last season, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Angels tee off on him. Upton has a .953 OPS over the last 30 days and has homered in each of his last three games.
