The Toronto Blue Jays had good injury updates on a few players Tuesday, but the latest on outfielder Steve Pearce (oblique) was not quite as fortunate. As of Tuesday, Pearce had not been cleared for baseball activities yet. Pearce has been on the disabled list due to an oblique strain since early May. Without being cleared for baseball activities yet, chances are we won’t see him back in the Major Leagues until June. Pearce was off to a solid start in 2018, but upon his eventual return, he will come back to a crowded outfield featuring Kevin Pillar, Teoscar Hernandez, Curtis Granderson and Randal Grichuk. Pearce isn’t worth fantasy consideration in the vast majority of leagues.--John Smith
