Cleveland Indians infielder Jose Ramirez (hip, groin) is not in Wednesday's starting lineup. It's mostly a day off, as manager Terry Francona said Ramirez would be able to play if necessary, but he wanted to err on the side of caution, especially with a doubleheader coming up the following day. Ramirez is experiencing soreness in his right hip and groin, but it doesn't seem like anything to worry about long term. Ramirez should be back in the lineup for at least one of the games on Thursday. Erik Gonzalez will start at third base on Wednesday.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
