Yahoo MLB DFS Advice (4/26/17): Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks

Yahoo DFS advice and daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for 4/26/17 by Justin Klein. MLB DFS player recommendations for your Yahoo daily tournaments and GPPs.

Happy  Wednesday morning, or whenever you happen to be reading this. In any case there are two afternoon games and 13 evening games for a total of 15 games on the slate. That said there are 12 games happening at 7:05 or later and those games are the ones that are connected to the GPP's and also the ones that I'll be focusing on as a result. Yahoo has some great value options to choose from for DFS games so let's get down to business (because, as usual, it's business time).

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for Yahoo on 4/26/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on Yahoo.

You can read our FanDuel and DraftKings DFS lineup picks as well. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @justinrklein.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Consider on Yahoo

The Colorado Rockies will face Tanner Roark at Coors Field on Wednesday night and I want all of the lefties they have in my lineup if possible. While tanner is a solid pitcher Coors Field shows no mercy and to be fair Roark has had his struggles with LHH; especially when facing them on the road. In his career he's allowed a wOBA of .331 to LHH away from Nationals Park. There's a reason that the Rockies have the highest estimated run total on the slate so I suggest that you tap them as much as you can Wednesday evening.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on Yahoo

Jon Lester at PIT ($50)

Jon Lester has a great matchup on Wednesday as he'll face the Pirates at the pitcher friendly confines of PNC Park in Pittsburgh. Not only is Lester projected to score the most points on the evening slate, but he's also a huge favorite as well. As a result Jon should post solid ratios and K's in a likely win. To be fair I just checked and the MLB Lineup Generator hadn't changed Noah Syndergaard to a starting option because of the PPD game on Tuesday, so Lester is actually projected the second most points. Even still he's a solid bet, and speaking of Thor...

Noah Syndergaard vs MIA ($58)

Thor has been marvelous this season as his 1.73 ERA is actually a bit unlucky when compared to his 0.75 FIP and when his inflated BABIP and underwhelming LOB% are considered. Syndergaard is projected for the most points tonight and he's the second biggest favorite on the slate. That's a good combo and I expect elite ratios and K's in a win as a result.

DFS Infielders to Consider on Yahoo

Catcher (C) - Jonathan Lucroy vs MIN ($8)

Lucroy has been on this list a lot lately as his cold streak has made him nice and affordable and it's hard to pass on such a good hitting catcher when he plays in a great hitter's park. Well tonight Jonathan becomes an even better play because he gets to face LHP Hector Santiago. In his career against LHP Luc has posted a solid .199 ISO with a wRC+ of 126. At just eight bucks he just might be my favorite play on the entire evening slate. Look at me Hector!

First Base (1B) -  Paul Goldschmidt vs SD ($21)

Goldy went off of on Tuesday and while I had all of the Eric Thames shares it still made me sentimental, because I can't even remember the last time I passed on Goldy at home against a lefty. On Wednesday Paul doesn't get to face a lefty, well unless the Padres are idiots later on in the game, but the RHP he does get to face is Trevor Cahill. That's a good thing for Goldschmidt and his owners in the fake game because he's posted a .219 ISO and a 132 wRC+ against RHP at Chase Field in his career. The fact that Cahill isn't very good at the pitching should also help.

Second Base (2B) - Brian Dozier at TEX ($16)

Dozier is a bit under the radar today as he faces off with Cole Hamels and the Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington. It's probably because of the quality of his opponent, but that opponent happens to be left handed, and Brian has bull-dozier-ed his way to a .237 ISO and 129 wRC+ against southpaws in his career.  Also of note is that while it's not Coors Field, Globe Life Park is the second best park in play on the evening. #getsome

Third Base (3B) -Danny Valencia - at DET ($7)

Valencia will likely be in the Mariners lineup on Wednesday at either first or third base as they face off with LHP Daniel Norris and the Tigers at Comerica Park in Detroit. This is a good thing for all of us value hunters because Valenica has hit LHP well in his career to the tune of a .177 ISO and 139 wRC+. At seven bucks Danny is a great value play with some solid upside so join me and get him into all of your lineups.

Shortstop (SS) -  Trea Turner at COL ($21)

Turner lit the world on fire on Tuesday night as he went for a cycle and scored four times while also knocking in seven. Yes, you read that correctly, Trea had seven steaks on Tuesday night. If you had him in your lineups (like I suggested over at the fake baseball dot com) you snagged 40.8 points on Yahoo. He'll have a hard time duplicating that performance, but he does get to face RHP Tyler Chatwood and company at Coors Field on Wednesday night so you never know.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on Yahoo

Charlie Blackmon vs WSH ($23) -

Charlie and the daily fantasy sports factory are at home and they face a RHP. It's Tanner Roark, so it's a good RHP, but it almost doesn't matter because Coors Field. At home against RHP in his career Charlie has impressed with a .200 ISO and a wRC+ of 120.

Carlos Gonzazlez vs WSH ($12) -

Cargo's bat came alive on Tuesday night and I expect it to stay that way on Wednesday. He's facing a tough RHP in Tanner Roark, but it is a RHP that he gets to face at Coors Field. In his career at home against RHP Cargo has managed an incredible .314 ISO with a 152 wRC+. Also of note is that Cargo has been a streaky player throughout his career and his HR tend to come in binges. At just $12 you'd be crazy not to have him in all of your lineups.
