Brooks Koepka Making Debut Appearance at This Week's Scottish Open
Given the hiatus that Brooks Koepka took from the PGA Tour when he jumped to LIV Golf, this will be the first time he is teeing it up at the Renaissance Club. He's coming off a missed cut at the US Open after injuring his wrist in Canada the week before. After being an approach play savant for much of the season, it's hard to know whether the -1.56 strokes gained on approach average at Shinnecock was due to lingering issues or just an off week. Since he wasn't creating much separation for himself on and around the greens, it's difficult to trust that his ball-striking is back to a level that can carry him as much as before. For most lineups, Koepka is better left on the bench until a better understanding of where his game stands can be determined.
