Pistons Land Ebuka Okorie Via Trade With Grizzlies
The Oklahoma City Thunder selected Stanford guard Ebuka Okorie with the No. 17 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. His rights were traded to the Memphis Grizzlies, who then traded them to the Detroit Pistons, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. Okorie posted averages of 23.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 steals across 35.0 minutes per outing in 31 starts during the 2025-26 campaign. Cade Cunningham will have a reliable backup rookie point guard in Okorie.
