Perhaps the IDP community put the cart before the horse when we dubbed Travis Hunter the "IDP Cheat Code" and the "Unanimous Top Defender in Fantasy." However, his per-game production last year was not far from the hyperbole, even with his injury and disappointing production. Despite lacking a clear role or consistent usage on either side of the ball, Hunter was still the DB1 in Standard IDP Scoring leagues last year thanks to his offensive production. Although his offensive usage could dip significantly in 2026, Hunter is still expected to play enough offensive snaps to validate Jacksonville's investment in him. Given his physical ability as a receiver, it is fair to project Hunter to log 500 yards receiving, 50 catches, and three receiving touchdowns on just a 40% offensive snap share, given he will be a priority when on the field. That production alone, without any defensive stats, would have made Hunter the DB15 overall last season. If he can produce that on offense while posting just average cornerback statistics, Hunter will again finish as the DB1 overall in a relative landslide.--Chris Gregory - RotoBaller
