New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson was unanimously named the 2026 Eastern Conference Finals MVP after the team completed its sweep of Cleveland with a 130-93 victory on Monday night. Brunson, who earned his third consecutive All-NBA Second Team selection over the weekend, averaged 25.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 1.0 steal per game against Cleveland. The 29-year-old has been among the top performers in the 2026 playoffs, leading the Knicks to back-to-back sweeps and the first Finals since 1999. While Brunson was outstanding in the Eastern Conference Finals, he still has room for improvement after making only 18.2% of his three-point attempts.--Taavi Pailk
