Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. is entering the final season of his contract, but he is extension-eligible this offseason and wants to stay with the team. "I see what we've got in the young dudes. I see we have the most money to spend. I think we've got the most," Porter Jr. said during an appearance on the One Night with Steiny podcast. "We're the youngest team, kind of like Oklahoma City. It took them a while to get good. I think that'll be how it is here. But I'm with it. I want to stay in Brooklyn." After being traded by the Denver Nuggets, Porter Jr. enjoyed a big career year with the Nets in 2025-26. He averaged 24.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.1 steals. However, he struggled to stay on the floor, appearing in only 52 games. If he can combine his production with improved durability next season, Porter Jr. would become an even more appealing fantasy option.--Taavi Pailk
