ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic - Course/Tournament History

The ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic is a PGA TOUR event that was introduced in 2024 as part of the TOUR’s alternate-field schedule. It is played in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and provides additional competitive opportunities for players who haven't qualified in the week’s signature events. The tournament is hosted at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club, a coastal layout known for its classic design and demanding conditions.

Dunes Golf and Beach Club was designed by renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1948 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Built during the early development of the area’s golf tourism boom, it quickly established itself as one of the premier layouts along the Grand Strand. The course is known for its classic coastal design, elevated greens, and strategic bunkering that reflects Jones’ philosophy of challenging elite players while remaining playable for amateurs.
